I've never used it so I don't know how it is quality wise but I have heard good things about it an its a lot cheaper than a saiga an more realistic for a budget like mine I would take a saiga any day but my wife would shoot me with it when she found out how much I spent on it lol

Its about 1/4 the price
 
Now that Michigan weed laws have eased I’m looking for a home defense pistol. Something that won’t make me deaf if I fire inside with no hearing protection

I like the thought of revolvers for dependability

Can't go wrong with a good .357 for home protection. However, over the years I have become partial to Glock, especially the 17... For the price and reliability, can't be beat. However, a shotgun is overall a "better" home defense option in most instances.

Generally any caliber suited for home defense is going to be deafeningly loud when fired indoors. Honestly not only is this the least thing you should be concerned about for this situation, the noise is also a major source of potential deterrence should you miss.

If you think the noise is bad behind the weapon, try being in the echo zone in front of it.

Deaf, terrified, and running away intruders are nearly as good as dead intruders.
 
A gas operated rifle used indoors is is one of the most terrifying things on earth. Clearing rooms and operating at close proximities has a definite mental effect on the unprepared or inexperienced. Only live drill and actual experience determine the winner of most conflicts. Despite what u been told your average gun ethusiast will miss or be wildly inaccurate when placed under duress. That and they wont act fast enough or aggressive enough. Thats best case scenario. Worst case scenario they will be inadequate from the draw or in the event of a malfunction unable to clear properly. In the hands of a trained individual any gun is adequate. Practice how youd carry and in the event of an actual real scenario youd be far better off. Going to the range in full mock military garb with a pack and all the fancy gear money can buy isnt YOUR scenario. For the vast majority of ppl itll be drawing from under clothing and maintaining distance to use your weapon effectively. Most of these encounters are going to happen within a few arms distance and their going to happen fast. Recognition has to happen first. Then action. Then execution.
 
Semi auto pistol grip 12 gauge shotgun with 10 round mag is my choice for home defence there pretty cheap now adays get a extra mag an birdshot is less likely to kill ur neighbor or family in other room an I know people talk about birdshots stopping power but people feel pain unlike ballistic gel
