Guys over 30 who got married young, do you regret it?

It’s all relative.. I had first kid at 19 and married at 20.. Had 3 kids with same women it was very rough getting by but it pushed me to work harder..

we divorced and now I am single at 42 and making good money and kids grown. So there is always that benefit

Biggest issue marrying young is you and her are not fully developed enough to really even know who you are let alone commit to spend life together. When you do fully find yourself you might realize you are totally not right for each other.

Good advice all around the board fellas. Super solid.

LOL sounds funny and like an asshole thing to say but true so true
I almost did that very thing last year with the most beautiful redhead I've ever seen. I still can't believe she was into me, beautiful. The thing is, there's only one thing you can have a meaningful conversation about with someone 30 years younger than yourself and as much fun as that would be for a short period of time, you basically end up raising another kid.

Trust me, When I was 18 I would walk into my at the time 56 year old dads apartment where he would have some 19 year old girl laid out on our living room couch just looks at me and doesnt say shit..LOL I was kinda pissed

I'm just wondering. I'm 23 and leaning towards just banging hos and having a gf at the most at least for the long forseeable future. What do you guys think about this topic? My dad was divorced twice and my mom is on her fourth marriage so at least what I've seen marriage isnt smart.
Do what you feel is best. But anticipate the marriage will end eventually, and protect your assets. Get a pre nep or better yet just shack up it’s the same thing, but beware in some states of common law marriage. The key thing is, the person who loves you today will try to milk you for every penny once they find a new guy! Beware of child support also. It’s all how much you want to gamble with your $. You can always have other women on the side and be shacked up, the best of both worlds! If you don’t care about having to work and give your $ to your future worst enemy, don’t worry about it!

This is the thing I neglected to mention in my first comment.
Make Money & protect it.

While there actually are some fairy tales where 2 people marry and live happily ever after - it's a very unrealistic, immature way to think at any age.

Met my wife when I was 24, married at 26, had our son when I was 28.

No regrets, but I got what I like to call a “ride or die chick.” That’s a woman that will stand by your side even when you’re wrong. She was previously divorced though, had a daughter. I told myself I was never going to be with a woman who had a child, that sort of changed after I met her though.

biggest thing to look for is how close she is with family. It’s usually easy to tell a woman dedicated to family as opposed to a self centered bitch. Yea yea yea…. Careers and money, bang ho’s, blah blah blah. Shit gets old when you keep meeting trash with no morals or the type of chick that wouldn’t give a damn abt you if u were sick. I’ve been there and done that with probably over 200 women before I met my wife. I never felt any better living that way, became a bigger dirtbag actually

1/2 of all marriages end in divorce.
The other 1/2... 1/3 of them cheat on each other, another 1/3 are to ugly to get anyone else, and the last 1/3... one dies before they get to divorce :)

No one with 1/2 a brain would bet on anything with these odds.

Just remember, love is just like a drug, works on the same receptors, makes you stupid. And like all drugs, it wears off, or your drug is taken away from you.. and then you hit bottom. At least protect your $, so you have something left in your moments of despair.

Do you know how many women I've fucked behind their husbands backs, who probably thought just like you?
