Hair Loss

Anyone have good results on topical dutasturide solutions?

The consensus seems to be split that either it's better than topical finasteride because it's more localized to the scalp as the molecule is large enough to not go fully systemic, or that it's molecule is too large and doesn't do shit as it's not absorbed at all.

Thoughts?

I found some on Indiamart, and going to experiment with that for prevention.

While booking a hair transplant, they ask you are you taking any medication. Are you supposed disclose TRT/TRT+/Cycles?
I had a transplant recently. I didn't disclose anything other than cialis (and I only disclosed that because I was curious if it could complicate the procedure with excessive bleeding) and the dude was supportive of it as a pro hair growth/recovery medication.

Yes seems like it but also hopped on my first cycle so difficult to say what the primary cause is
Mine seems to indeed grow faster since doing oral (more frequent hairdresser visits), however it did less for density than topical. So after initially switching from topical to oral I now run both with good results

Hi folks, I still have a full head of hair (25yo) and have only recently started using test enanthate (~200mg per week, injected eod). I've always heard that prevention/ early early intervention always yield the highest success rates for hair loss prevention. Given that, do you guys think it's a good idea to also begin topical finasteride to block test-converted DHT at the scalp? I am also currently using ketoconazole shampoo (twice weekly).

I think the key is in watching till you notice the earliest sigs of actual hairloss/shedding to then jump to the strongest medication used to treat hairloss. Im no expert though, just a guy going through it trying to figure it out.

Same dosage Test-E daily admnistration. Noticed a little light shedding when I first jumped on hormones were fluctuating like crazy (I was taking hcg for a bit too which only made things worse). But it stopped once stabalized. Then I whgen I added to my cycle my shedding got pretty bad. As soon as I decided the shedding wasnt getting better I made my derm appointment and he told me to just start taking oral fin but I asked for topical and told to try minoxidil topical first. Shit stopped it immediately (I also cut back any dosage changes and dropped to only test a bit before). Have to be consistent but it will not only stop your shedding, but your hair will grow fuller. At our test-e doses I think our risk for DHT induced hairloss is on the lower side, normally experienced at much higher doses or running DHT-derived compounds.

If Minox doesnt seem to be holding up and its from heavy dht-derived compounds, add RU or KX. Last resort, Oral Fin.

This is the gist from what Ive gathered so far
