People have an irrational fear of injecting air. I think it takes something like 3 liters of air injected IV to cause an air embolism.

The fear of air is irrational , I have a story from my junkie days that's pretty funny I'll tell you all about it for a laugh. So I was at a buddy's house where me and my newly x were living for a while and one night everyone in the house was dopesick and a friend came by with some dilaudids k4s to be exact problem was no needles we had thrown them out to get clean yea right. Middle of the night pharmacys that would sell rigs were closed so everyone else went about snorting them, not me I found a packaged 23 g needle just the needle also found a length of clear fish tank pump tube so I carefully put the needle in the tube then dropped a little super glue around it. I then crushed up 4k4s poured them in then poured in some water and cold shook that bitch stuck it in my vien and blew as hard as I could! At first my blood pressure was winning but I took a deep breath and blew the blood and all the dilaudid back in. When I pulled it out a stream of blood shot across the room and covered the tv. I got the biggest fucking rush I'm sure as much from blowing against my blood pressure as the drugs. True story.

That some straight hard core shit right their lol. I've seen a few of my friends main line vodka before. Fucked em up bad to. I did not try it btw an thank god. I'm sure it messed them up so bad because it bypassed the kidneys an liver. Went straight in their blood lol. Talking about a little bit going along way lmfao. Dumbasses:p:D

Ive got some stories as well. My past is why I'm not scared of air in the needle. I've used some raggedy ass needles before and I've put a mil or more of air into my veins multiple times hence why I don't aspirate or worry much about air bubbles. One of us should start a crazy story thread about some of the crazy shit we did when using. It would be one of the more interesting threads on this forum I'm sure.
 
So how many hours after pining are y'all waiting to drawl bloods? I have heard 24,48 and 72. In case y'all didn't know my bud Boiler did us a great service a while back. He ran some gear and had bloods drawn at the 24,48 and 72 hour mark and his test was the highest at 72 hours. So i am assuming thats when I am setting mine up. I had it scheduled already but now I have to go out of town that day so I am trying to decide when I should reschedule after my monday pinn.
 
That's a very qopd question o cuz I didn't know 72 would be the highest I usually do anywhere between 24 and 48 hours I'd like to know what others opinions r as well

It was the highest for him. Blood levels are pretty user specific- even more important is WHERE you pin. A delt pin might be highest at 72 hours while a flute pin might peak at 30 hours. We have also seen body weight makes a significant difference as well.
