ok, i am back. thanks for the wishes. We had a great weekend. The cold front that moved through fri.night screwed the fishing up. We caught a few but people were saying that the previous days were great. All the fish we caught were in a 20 minute span. My son managed to get a lure stuck in the top of a tree. The reservoir had 3 or 4 trees around it total. I sent my son around it to see where they were biting. Told him to stay away from the trees. About a half hour later I was climbing to the top of the dead limbs getting his favorite lure. The tree was one of those leaners out over the water. If it broke I would only get wet lmao. Oh well, it was a good time.

Now that's the sign of a good dad. Reminds me of something I did with my dad where I messed up and knew it, he just came over and laughed it off. That was over 20 years ago and I still remember it.

Funny how kids always find a way to get their lure stuck in a tree.lol I got the head shake from my dad many times growing up.

especially when there were only 3 damn trees around this mini lake. I mean acres worth of treeless fishing and he goes right for the trees
