Has anyone felt this after a pulled hammy

2 1/2 weeks ago I was two weeks out from a powerlifting meet. It was my deadlift day and my target was 3 @500#. Smoked the first one, but half way up on the second one I pulled my hamstring. I hobbled around for a couple of days and the bruising on the back of my leg is almost all gone, but now the inner thighs of both legs are sore. Like when I cross my legs or walk up stairs etc.
Could I have strained my groin by compensating for my hamstring?
I feel like I'm falling apart all of a sudden lol. I'm 43 5' 9" was going to compete at 165# currently 175. Let myself go when I could'nt do the meet.
 
More likely you also strained you adductors in the injury (and not your "groin")and you're still feeling that. Adductor Magnus is a huge muscle. Go get a good massage or two and see if you're not back in shape soon. I'll bet you will.
 
Your talking about a deep muscle massage right, not the lot of oil one thing leads to another type from the wife.

Duh!!

...I mean...yeah....like real massage therapy dude...not foreplay...k? Find someone that can name ever hamstring muscle and every adductor muscle and you're probably in decent shape. If they know and are certified in "neromuscular therapy"...even better.
