Have my Dr see mid cycle bloods?

In the past when I get my bloods drawn I have to go out of town over an hour drive to the closest lab MD collection site. I was thinking about calling doc and asking for lc/ms? I probably have to specify test over 1500? Not sure if I should do this? Or just bite the bullet and take the drive out of town.

Nope. Dont do it . Do the drive , I do (100mile R/T)

I agree with OGH. Some folks here have speculated that there might be insurance coverage issues with having your doctor have documented proof that you are "doing something to your body" that has your T levels through the roof, while also shutting down your LH/FSH levels, potentially elevating your cholesterol and BP, etc (depending on what all your doc tests/records).

I don't know how true that is, but it's not a risk I'd want to take.

I feel bad for most people on here. Everyone has to drive a long way just to get bloods. I have 5 locations within ten minutes of where I live.

Ha yes u should take the drive. Good luck trying to explain to your doc. How u just woke up like that. Aswell as put on the extra weight. Unless your doctor is a badass guy. I'm lucky got one within 30 min drive. Oh and i guess I will just have to stop at twin peeks while I'm there. Happy hour is all the buzz.

Bickel just said it , and remember your doctor is not your friend , he's your doctor and he will err to the side of safety everytime ...
