Read that earlier, wasn't aware the flu was that menacing....
Getting worse and worse...
The vaccine makes me sick everytime I get it, or I get sick after getting one at least.
I'm forced to get it every year. Job requirements for hospital contract work. I used to lie on the paperwork but the require proof now. It's for children's hospital so I say it's for the kids haha

Heard a story a few years back about some young kid that died from a hickey... easy to forget how fragile life can be
I would get it if I had to but it kinda sucks... It can't be the virus that makes me sick so I've always blamed it on the carrier.
Last time I got it, I was at the doctor for something else and they asked if I wanted it while I was there. The nurse came in with a tiny little needle and I stood up, rolled up my sleeve. She said whoa, you better sit back down. "Why?" I said, "because I don't want you to pass out if you're afraid of needles."
"Don't worry", I said... I'm more than fine with needles.

Me too, i don't get them anymore. One year at work they gave everybody flu shots for christmas, the whole crew ended up getting sick that year

My father in law went to the doctors and they told him he had to provide a urine and stool sample. He asked them if he could just leave his underwear!

I had that happen one other time at the ortho before a cortisone shot. Doc asked if I had a problem with needles... I was literally rubbing the PIP I had in my delt when I snickered and said naa.
Well, he left and came back with what I would guess to be about a 2" 18ga needle attached to an unforgiving looking barrel of white substance. He proceeded to pretty much stab me between the knee cap and the joint.
Turns out, I'm not fine with all needles.

I tested positive for type B flu with some pneumonia on the side almost 5 weeks ago. Couldn't hardly catch my breath even with an inhaler, lungs would tighten up like crazy. I'm better now for the most part but I still get out of breath super easy. I can honestly see how letting that shit go could kill someone.
