I tried a pair of in ear ear phones, but my ears are so small they really hurt and slide out, so going ti go with raycon over ear sport headphone noise cancelling… they are bot as much as dre beats, but half price.

Does anyone use any headphones they would suggest?

Hard to suggest anything without a price range - but IF price is the main concern over sound quality I'd say the Sony WH-CH520s are pretty good

+1 for any of the midrange Sony over ear headphones. Sound quality and noise cancelling is far above their price point.

My gym is noisy as hell and these block out almost all the ambient sound and are the only pair I've owned that are comfortable enough to wear for a full workout.

I like the sony WF-SP700N, because they stay attached and have customizable fittings. The sound quality is pretty good for such an old headset too, nearly on par with the WH-1000XM4 over ears, just slightly less punchy because they're earbuds and not over ears. Make sure you buy new. Batteries will only last about 3hrs though. If you get over ears from sony, ebay will always have open box demo units for about 1/3-1/2 the price of New MSRP

+1 for Sony. Very happy with some old WH-CH700N and they just won't die. Replaced the ripped pads for 10 dollars and they look brand new.

Overear: WH-1000XM2 or WH-1000XM3 for everything, noise canceling, sleep (i sleep with them for years)

Inear: Airpods Pro for working out, outdoor use

It’s tough when you can’t try out earbuds before buying, as top tier are $250+, and all fit pretty different. You can, however, buy a few and return the ones you don’t like. Double check the return policy before you buy with the store manager, and get their name. Don’t listen to the stoned cashier. You should be fine at big box stores like Walmart or Best Buy, but double check. I’ve known people to do this on Amazon as well, but I’ve never done it. Maybe someone else has experience.

Samsung earbuds pro 2, buy them on amazon. If you dont like them you could always return them. Whenever a new model comes out I trade them in with samsung for a newer model.
