Help need guys. One of my buddys sends me gear for dirt cheap. Problem is they’re in 100 ml jugs. Although I’ve never had a problem before, the test cyp that I pin half a cc at a time, (200 pokes in the stopper) stopper is starting to break apart. I know they make a filter I’d assume at least that is luer lock. Please spoon feed me on where to get a few of these.

Buy 10 sterile dehydronated vials, 50ml syringe with a 20g needle and start dispensing. Your welcome.

Amazon or gpz med lab. Get 60ml syringes and caulk gun. put the syringe in the caulk gun to filter. Draw up the solution and filter into 10ml vials with 20g or 21g needles. Use a 25g or 27g needle to vent vial for displacement. Use .22 micron sterile nylon or pvdf filters

Amazon is where I get my syringe filters.. and the have 25 packs of 10ml sterile vials

Better drawing with 18g… half the time… didnt find 16g

Well, they covered fixing the 1 u have. Once u do that, u wont want to again. Sooo, heres what you do.
Buy some silicone stoppers, flip top caps, crimper, and decrimper.
In the future, after maybe 10 or 20 sticks, sterilize a new stopper and just trade it out with new one on the 100ml bottle. Crimper and decrimper isnt cheap but it's a 1 time buy..

Whatman makes the only good pvdf during filter or has nylon started making some good ones? Cause less then 2 years ago they were trash.

Well I havent tried whatman. I use generic pvdf off of amazon haha. Idk doesnt seem to make a huge difference. Ive used ptfe and it was too slow but pip wise i didnt see any difference between ptfe and pvdf. I have never used nylon but I only hear good things about em.

Haha lately i just take the syringe and stick it in the beaker without a needle on it, draws up super easy that way!

Yes i meant from the bottle top i use with the septa cap… me too always drawn with needleless syringe , sterile one

I still havent invested into a bottle top setup yet still got the ole caulk gun, so fuckin tedious

Sorry to be that guy but im looking now. Id assume the ones that say catheter tip are a no go. Should I look for luer lock ones. Sorry but amazon is all over the place.

Wish some one did a video on this. I would assume you filter through the top into a sterile bottle than stick syringe end into bottle to draw sterile solution and inject into bottle?

first thing, i swap the plastic bottle from the bottle filter kit because it explodes instantly from the negative pressure of the vacuum pump, and dont have it modded adding a valve to use just some millibars.

i just throw instantly that plastic bottle in the bin because you cant neither store anything into, because Benzyl Benzoate melts it, and i lost several mls of NPP this fashion.

so i attach a GL 45 glass bottle to the filter kit and then i close it with a septa cap.. then draw with a syringe with 16-18g needle and put the oil into a sterile vial.

I dont overcome 600mbars of neg pressure with the vacuum pump on the filter unit because when i went over 600mbars i broke the plastic fuckin filter too.

so, if you have a vacuum pump and not the mod with valves , just switch it on and switch it off after 0.5-1 sec… you ll read the neg pressure on the manomether.. if over 600, detach the rubber tube from the filter to let air enter into it and counteract the neg pressure. Re start and switch off the pump sooner this time.

who made those glass bottles called GL45 knew for fuckin sure how much a pain in the ass the whole stuff is… that GL stands for Good Luck putos

I think when you go to a bottle top filter and electric vacuum pump, its like coming out of the stone age, its not even difficult either.

Yes. I use the luer lock. It's gonna be under pressure. I would.
