Hey guys, so some of you know i am on my 1st cycle of anavar, after reading through the forums for some time now i feel like my workout program is not that great.
I train 6 days a week, splitting them as follows

Chest
Back
Bi/tri
Shoulders
Legs
Cardio

If you could link me to articles or workout programs that might be of a help that would be great.

OP, im a powerlifter, so I dont do specific body parts, its pretty much squats and bench plus some accessories or bench and dead plus accessories everyday I train.
Accessories in this case equal back, tricep, and chest work.
Personally I like that better. But 2 of the better members at developing workouts here are @RodgerThat and @Thenewera

Also you should link your cycle log in here so they can see what you already do in more detail.

Nice, very specific. Also excellent cycle build too. Nice oral only anavar only cycle. Perfect! You should be looking like Ronnie Coleman soon
I assume you are looking like ronnie coleman yourself too, when did people become so rude.?

Thanks alot jay, i remember a guy at my gym once told me you shouldn't be doing splits all you should be doing is 8 compound movements with some accessory movements, he said that this would work better for me, i am just a bit lost and the more i read the more confused i get lol

I'm a strong believer in incorporating compounds and then accessory (in certain times of your training) for example...

Right now I'm currently not doing any heavy benching or deadlifts or squats. M literally doing all accessory work. Temporary Isolation splits weeks are my favorite honestly. Anything. I can help with lmk

Awe Jay your making me blush . Okay OP so the goal is bodybuilding, but beyond that are there laggin bodyparts? are you bulkin or cutting? Any strength goals? Current amount of time for the gym? Any injuries to work around? Certain movements you've found that work better for you? Little bit of info and we can probably build you a decent template to work from.

I'm sure whatever info you get here and/or from RodgerThat will be more specific. Yet bodybuilding.com has a ton of "canned" prefabbed workout routines that can definitely be helpful even if it's just a good template to work with. One in particular that I did on there when I started and is a 6 day split is Jim Stoppani's "Shortcut to Shred" it's worth looking into. You can also use their Bodyspace mobile app to track workouts.

I am currently bulking on the 1st half of my anavar cycle, my main issues with my body is my midsection it holds onto fats for dear life, i train 6 days per week, i spend around 2 or 2.5 hours daily in the gym (weights and cardio and abs).
Movements i noticed that makes a difference are compound moves, like squats deadlifts bench press bent over rows

I have high bf %, i guess its around 26 - 28 right now.
Thanks alot rodgerthat for the help.

Okay so if you are bulking by lagging body parts I mean muscular wise as in a calorie surplus there's nothing to do about midsection fat that's a cutting thing. So I'm gonna state it like this, are you looking to lower your BF during this cycle or are you trying to increase your muscle mass? Because we can't do both and it kinda seems like that's what you are trying to do

I decided to bulk for 6 weeks then start cutting and introduce the clen with the car in he last 4 weeks of the cycle.

This is my current split. I'm not taking any gear and my results have been spectacular. My goals are probably different than yours though, I'm training to be in a show so symmetry plays a factor. Hope this might help you!

I like that program. Bit too many sets for my needs but a quick pace with lighter weights and it could be interesting. I've run a program that had similarities to this and got great results.
