I hurt what I believe is my flexor while squatting. I can't get low on the squat as it hurts quite a bit. This happened 3 weeks ago and it really hasn't gotten better. From what I've been reading it seems to be a muscle strain from overuse.
I stopped squatting and two weeks in I stopped deadlifting as well, just in case, even though it doesn't hurt when deadlifting.
Basically, I wanted to know if anyone has had a similar problem and if I "diagnosed" myself correctly. If so, what advice/further info can you give me about recovery.
I iced it for awhile, but I don't if I should keep doing that. I do icy hot massages at night and just try not to stress it. There is no swelling, but from what I read it shouldn't be hurting like it does when I squat down anymore.
Your input would be great.
