Help with PCT after 12 weeks cycle with only 250mg TEST/week

Just a question: isn't nolvaldex an AI? Why you need to add it to clomid during PCT? Since there is no exogenous testosterone, the estrogen level shouldn't rise, is it correct? So why lots of guys add nolvaldex to their PCT?

I didn't use any AI during my cycle since my estrogens were always in the range.

nolvadex isn't an AI
is a SERM (selective estrogen receptor modulator) : it block the action of estrogen.
It seem use clomid + nolvadex give a quickest response of LH.
I alwys tought this.
But when i tried just only clomid i discovered that for me is the same use 1 or 2 serm: i always need same time to recover.
