Help with "You have insufficient privileges to reply here" message when trying to reply in steroid UGL forums.

Sup buff fucks. I've had this account for over half a year and have replied to UGL forums in the past but cant anymore. I get the message in the reply box "You have insufficient privileges to reply here" which only happens in ugl forums as other forums I can reply with no issue. I have done my new member introduction recently thinking it might have been the issue which didn't fix anything. I also sent emails to sup over the last three months twice and have failed to receive a response either time. Just wondering if anyone has any idea whats going on and thanks.

It's eventually unlocked... for members who show a genuine desire to learn from, contribute to, and help the community.

There have been too many new members who sign up to immediately do one or more of the following behaviors as their first action on the forum:

(1) post praise and recommendations for a particular source and/or defend that particular source;
(2) send a private message to a particular source;
(3) send a private message to another member(s) asking to be given the name of a trusted source;
(4) post message asking someone to contact them with a trusted source

In the first example, such actions look suspiciously like that of a shill.

In the latter 3 examples, the behaviors could put new members at risk of being scammed. The vulnerability of being scammed is increased when it is done in private outside any public accountability.

Consequently, I think these behaviors should be discouraged to further the integrity and safety of the forum for all participants.

Restricting forum privileges encourages new members to participate in the forum, learn how to navigate the forum, and understand the risks associated with interactions with sources.

It also discourages sources/shills from attempting to deceptively manipulate the forum with questionable reviews and shills.
Get more involved in the community and it will unlock eventually

Did this work for you? I'm in the exact same boat as you. Trying to reply now to more new member threads to see if that opens it back up

I seriously doubt that just posting a welcome in lots of other newbie intro threads is going to give you full membership privileges. As per @Cridi887 ‘s suggestion above, try making proper, quality contributions across the forum.

I feel this. I do want to contribute, but the volume of "how many reps should I do" or "how many calories should I eat" threads don't seem like a quality use of time. Seems to me like there are a bunch of folks who'd benefit from losing their 500mg test/wk privileges while they sort that out :D

Mods on most boards would just delete your posts or ban you outright.

Here you are required to make an into and become a contributing member of the community.

At the very least you are able to let everyone know how you feel.

Stick around.

I'm not sure we understand eachother.

I did make an intro post and I'm doing my part to contribute, albeit selectively. The jist of my post was just mildly lamenting the volume of posts that suggest lack of training/dieting knowledge from more established members. It seems there are probably a lot of members who would find better success in better understanding training volumes, intensity, diet principles etc before trying to design a cycle!

I don't mean any of this in a bashing way. Planning to stick around and find the nooks and crannies of this place :)

Absolutely agree. Not just here on this forum, but many start AAS with a poor or lacking nutrition and training plan. So much more progress could be made ironing those out first.
