Hey all,

Brief intro on me below.

Currently stats are: 175cm, 85kg, a decent chunky of which is fat.

Goals are to lean out to 72kg in the near future. Also looking to increase my effort with training as I feel I’m not pushing failure in all sessions.

Fairly new but I train 4-5 days a week in central London, feel free to hit me up if you’d fancy training together.

Tried some GLP1s last year and it was revolutionary. I’ve always found bulking easy, but cutting has been nigh impossible or unsustainable.

look forward to learning from you all.

I should also add, I have tried some PEDs, running a TRT dose of test for health reasons (libido, mental drive etc) to see if I felt much.

I’m curious to dip my toe back in that pond in time.

Welcome to Meso. A word of advice: taking drugs just to take drugs isn't really a great idea. I'm not suggesting you should run a blast but using a replacement dose of testosterone at a young age (which you appear to be so correct me if I'm wrong) when not hypogonadal can have serious repercussions with no benefit.

Do what you said you're going to do and hang back and learn for a while before injecting anymore hormones.

Go wild with GLP-1s. Great drugs with very little downside and you should get lean before a blast anyway.

Thanks Adrenalytic that’s great advice and I appreciate it being given. I’m 26 by the way so not so young anymore.

For context, I took TRT supervised by a doctor (though I think the clinics do not give unbiased advice) and in response to some symptoms which it did indeed help with. After a few months, I felt that those same effects could be had with other lifestyle changes which I have substituted the TRT for.

With that said, I would be very interested (after more reading on some) to run a lower dose cycle in the near future after cutting.

Hopefully this won’t be too far away, on Mounjaro I lost an *incredible* amount of weight and my BF looked great and only in a few months.

In steroid years that is very young. Your natural hormone production should be more than enough for you to build muscle with dialed-in training, diet and recovery. Unless you have underlying issues making you hypogonadal but this is very rare in the sub-30 crowd.

Most guys blasting at your age are looking for a shortcut so they don't have to work as hard. That's the wrong way to look at steroids. They are a compliment, not a substitute, to hard work.

Yah, those clinics do not see you as a patient. You are a revenue stream to them. Legalized drug pushers.

You are not wrong. There is nothing magical about exogenous testosterone. What makes it effective is the fact that you can inject more of it than your body could ever produce.

Good approach. Slow and steady. This lifestyle is a marathon not a sprint.
