Hgh and hair?

So I've been researching all the pros and cons of Hgh for awhile and now I'm confused by 5 different studies how hgh relates to hair growth.

3 say it theoretically should have a negative effect,
1 says positive
and 1 recent uncontrolled study says the positive effectiveness of finasteride is dependant on increased IGF-1, ("an increased expression of IGF-1 messenger RNA levels in the DP was associated with patient response to finasteride.")

So I'm interested what sort of results users here are getting, whether your stacking, using solo, with or without slin, or just using IGF-1.

Any feedback, good or bad, would be appreciated.

I did GH for 4 month when I was healing from shoulder surgey. I have a thin spot on the back of my head that filled in about 50% and the hair came back to it's normal color, before it was very light. along with the propicia that I've been taking for a few year It has continued to grow. I'll be getting back on Gh real soon........11

Thanks 11, good going on that regrowth. Out of curiousity, were you using slin? Also, what brand of hg?

Thanks

No slin. thats something I don't mess with. I was only doing 2iu's a day to help my shoulder heal. I've never read anything that says gh will make your hair fall out just the oppisite. hair regrowth or if your gray the color starts coming back. I was using serostim..........11

I noticed hair growth/thickening/ color change too. I was on 6iu of serostim
I will be trying nutropin depot soon and I hope to see that effect again.

BTW this is without slin

the studies I read that indicated/implied some sort of potential negative reaction all pretty much pointed to men who have higher than normal IGF-1 were also prone to vertex thinning of the hair. There could very well be other factors that were not taken into consideration when these were done, such as higher than normal T levels as well, and these studies were done quite awhile ago. Like I said, there was one very recent study that specifically looked at men with with varying rates of IGF and were also taking propecia. All of the subjects with elevated IGF-1 had the most hair regrowth while using the drug. But nothing like hearing from people with real life experience, so thanks for your feedback with congrats with your positive reaction.

I have used GH for about three and a half years now on and off. I've been on as long as 8 months continually on a 5 on/2 off 4 I.U. regimen. I've gone up as high as 9 I.U.'s and as low as 2.

What I've noticed is this: When I'm on it for a while, I notice positive effects on my hair, i.e. faster growth, return to natural color, and definitely thicker. However, after I'm off for a while, it seems like all the increased positive anti-aging effects are eventually countered by an equal and opposite pro-aging effect. My hair gets more and more gray, growth slows, and it thins out. I look like Moses after he saw the burning bush every time I cycle off this shit. Maybe I'm crazy, I don't know. But it's definitely noticable and it makes me wonder if I'm not doing the same thing to the rest of my body as well. Maybe the answer is to just stay on the GH forever and fuck it. Take it for whatever it's worth.

BTW--just got on the igf-1 and haven't noticed too much of an effect on my hair yet, but it's only been two weeks. As far as other aspects are concerned, do yourself a favor and try this instead of GH--big difference!
