I’ve had insulin resistance issues in the past (acanthosis nigricans) and although my diet and lifestyle has been solid over the last 4 months I’m thinking of incorporating HGH for sleep, recovery, visceral fat reduction, and its modest anti aging effects.
My blood work relevant to HGH/insulin:
A1C is 5.3, my FBG is 84, and my IGF-1 is 179. E2 is 50 on the dot which I’m comfortable with.
I’m currently on 6mg of Reta, 150mg of Test C (my natty test was 271 so I was prescribed TRT) and I’m also been taking a statin for when I previously had high cholesterol 4 months ago.
I’ve lost 59 pounds in 4 months and I’m currently at 271lbs at 6’. 25 years old.
I’m looking for advice from much more experienced users here as to whether it would be a good idea to incorporate 2-4iu HGH at this point due to my past history of insulin resistance. And if so, supplements that could help. My acanthosis nigricans has not gone away yet which has me concerned that despite my numbers I’m still insulin insensitive.
The last week I’ve logged my FBG every morning and it’s around 86-91 every day.
