Hi, Long time lurker from the UK

With age, we begin to appreciate what we have and what was. We look less into the future, and try what we have now - to cherish it. After all, time is the most precious resource that we waste.

Very much agree with your comment, I defo live in the moment far more than I used to. Im happy with what I have and where I'm at so I worry less about what's going to be 6 months down the line. I lost a very good friend to suicide a few weeks ago and that has reaffirmed this way of thinking.

Suicide is a bad way to see a friend off. We feel like we let them down. But a person at that point most likely wouldnt have listened to you. Remember them and your friendship. That way they still live. Dont dwell on the way they departed.

That's the right attitude, you're done. and continue to act in life. And you will be fine.
