High calorie strongman diet

Back on the hard training and posting on forums again good to be back. Problem is I hate cooking all the time, and gonna be in a big gaining phase the next 3 months. Might consider a diet like this to hit 290. What u think?

Over how many days is this guy intending to eat all that? I dont think he mentioned innthe video so im kind of confused. If he eats all that in 1 day he gonna bulk, he eat all that in 1 week its a different story.

What do you look like currently? what is your current height/weight? I assume you're competing HW? I am not sure that anyone here knows how much you have to gain to hit 290. Are you lean-ish and trying to get to 290 or are you fat and trying to get to a fatter 290?

One day. Not sure how many calories it equates to but it's definitely alot if you also incline a breakfast and dinner on top.

Hmm a reasonable 260 to be fair, maybe 13-14% bf. Running 500test 500eq at the moment and plan to throw in an oral in a couple weeks. I'm not too bothered about gaining extra body fat at this point, I just plan to bulk and hit some all time PRs and see where I can take it from there

What does it entail? I can’t open the link... can you post what they suggest ?
Thick roast beef sandwiches, cheese mayo and horse radish sandwiches, thick peanut butter sandwiches, Couple loafs of bread worth plus Snickers bars. Protein shakes, Couple gallons of milk and about a gallon of water with Gatorade powder there. That's alot of food just there so it might last the guy about 2 days actually^^

Also bare in mind he still said he'll eat bacon and eggs for breakfast and something like pizza or meat and potatoes for dinner lol

Idk why I thought you said something about strongman, because there’s nothing about strongman anywhere in this thread. So ignore the HW comment.

EDIT: well it’s in the title lol. Keep in mind that speed and athleticism are becoming more and more important in strongman and will really set you apart from the competition. Especially in HW classes. So just adding a ton of weight without thinking about being able to move is a bad idea

I can’t really fathom putting on 30 lbs in 3 months and feeling good about it. There’s plenty of neuromuscular adaptations that you can make to increase strength without putting on a ton of weight. I’m all for getting bigger, but putting on size just for the sake of putting on size, regardless of body composition, I don’t believe is a good idea, personally. Unless you’re incredibly strict with your eating, training, sleep, and recovery, I wouldn’t expect more than a few pounds of that to be muscle.

Also, 260 @ 13-14% BF is pretty freakin monstrous.

Sounds like a recipe to get fat fast. Will you get stronger. For sure. Will the additional fat you gain be worth it. Probably not.

Unless you have a screaming metabolism or are super active. This isn’t a diet I would suggest following.
