There's a bunch of stuff that can make your PSA raise a lot.
If 87 in your nickname is the year of your birth, I wouldn't worry too much with just one test, but anyway, let your doctor stick a finger up your chocolate hole. It's painless, cheap and fast - don't be a pussy about it. Your doc will know the best, he'll probably want more bloods in a while, maybe some sort of imaging...

Yeah that's my year of birth. The finger in my chocolate whole will be free of charge thankfully. I'll be thinking of you when it penetrates.

Like Jano said PSA can be totally out of wack I remember getting it tested when I was in my 20s but I had jerked off or sex before the test. It was some INSANE number that was basically "you have cancer" I freaked out for a few days before getting it retested and it was totally fine.
so if you:
A) Jerked off
B) had sex before the test you probably totally messed it up.
Like jano said even if your family is prone to it at '87 it is so highly unlikely that, that's what it is. There's a reason they don't even recommend testing until 40+ at the earliest if anything it can worry people or lead to unecessary procedures. It's kind of a hot topic.
I can't remember what my number was but it was definitely more than yours maybe 30+ then when retesting with no sex or jerking off it was below baseline.
