What about t.i.? No love for the hood cat from atl? The only Southern dude that gets nice, like, ever?
In no particular order : Nas (It Was Written is my favorite album, I still listen to this regularly.), Method Man (check out the wu-tang freestlye @ westwood on youtube if you haven't seen it, fucking amazing) , Rza , MF DOOM , J Dilla , Outkast , The Roots (black thought is seriously underrated and Things Fall Apart is one of the best albums I've ever listened to).
Smif n Wessun. Lost boys

I was lucky enough that I got to see Bone thugs n harmony play in Cleveland at Gund arena back in 97-98 when their art of war cd came out. Them being from Cleveland, playing in Cleveland, it was awesome to say the least. So much weed was smoked that day lol.Since I listen to 85% hip hop, I figured we should start a thread and see who everyone else is listening to. Maybe you guys can give some new ideas or remind someone of some good songs they forgot about.
I'll admit, I'm mostly into late 80's and early 90's Hip Hop. But I don't think everyone put today sucks. Im feeling Wale, Kendrick, Big Sean, and some J.Cole.
My all time top 5 (in no order)
1. Tupac
2. Tech N9ne
3. Ice Cube
4. Eminem
5. DMX
Honorable mention to Goodie MOB, 8ball and MJG, Jay-Z, E-40, Snoop, Outkast, Twista, Redman, Brotha Lynch, Scarface and my actual favorites Bone Thugs n Harmony.
Wasnt expecting that. Pastor Troy is always on my gym playlist and Vice Versa is one of his best songs. The whole Face Off album is still tight.
