Hip Hop / Rap Thread

Grew up in North/Central Jersey and came of age in the 90's and it should be no surprise I favor a lot of the Wu. To me they were the first universal rap to cross over and heavily appeal to all races. I still follow the underground hardcore and some of the legends that still put out the real hip hop.

 
I'd hate to say it Skull but I was never into PAC Biggie or any of the west coast style . Give me my 90's beat with natural instrument samples and ample bass, pretty much dirty with a little fire spit on it
 
I'm not sure if any of these have been mentioned... I've always been a huge hip hop head, but I've always loathed the mainstream shit. probably because I'm white.

Yup, he's badass. Listening to his new album now. Unique style. Man I'm gonna have to go through this whole thread. If you like him Skull I'll post up some other stuff you'll probably be into.
