Hip injury advice ?

so I’m trying to see what others have done when they’ve come across a hip injury, messed it up around 7 months back... ditched legs (def lost mass ) and just got back into them a few weeks ago.

Was going for a clean 265 squat I hit 245 fairly easy... when I went down I felt a click around the hip area so I didn’t even try completing the squat did a slow bail and the stoppers saved the bar no biggie .. after that both sides of what seems to be my hips are hurting ... physical therepy?... x ray? it’s not horrible but I can tell it’s there for sure. Ty ahead of time.

Consult an orthopedic. They will have xrays done, a physical exam and if they feel it's needed you'll be getting shoved into a very loud tube. Don't move or they have to do it over, trust me...
 
@ickyrica Was hoping you were gonna say hips usually heal on there own...lol. It originally happened doing 275 i went down to fast and heard tearing.. i figured a 5 month break would be more then enough time.. and i did it again 10lb less.
 
Right where you’re hip is where your shorts like the waste band would fit If you follow your leg all the way up the front right when you get to the top where it’s no longer your leg basically
