Hot Sweats

I have ben told that hot sweats and jitteriness, etc is caused from low T, or high E2, or Low E2. many opinions on this.

I have been dealing with this since I went on a higher dose of T. I am also on Thyroid med.

A scenerio, last night I had sweats on and off all night and was restless, couldn't sleep a familar situation for me. I am on 1 1/2 Testim and got tested yesterday after 2 weeks. I am pretty sure I will be in a decent range with T values.

My question is if my E2 was high or low then why did I have a strong erection and some erotic dreams. I have been told that if you get an erection your E2 levels are ok. Out of the last 4 nights I have had 3 erections in the morning.

These sweats are killing me. I just cut back on Thyroid med. I have been told that T does not affect Thyroid med and I just found an article that says it does.

does sound like hyperthyroidism. Are you taking hgh?

Thanks you for the reply. All the labs I get on Thy, show I am on the low side except TSH, which is a debatable value.

I am taking 2 grains armour. Always took 2.5 but never with a high T level like now. Just got total T after 2 weeks on 1 1/2 Testim. 522. Waiting for free T., E2, DHT. I was taking 1 Indoplex Dim when the test was takien.

With a higher T value, will the Thy med be more effective at a lower dose? I found an article that says yes and that if you are taking T then you should reduce you thy med. If this is true then it ould explain what is going on. Anyway. I have reduced my thy med to 1.5 grains and we will see if the sweating goes away.

I truly appreciate the reply and thanks for the supports. It's been a tough road, but I believe I am getting close.

why not give up your thyroid and testosterone values? At .5 grain of armour, I tend to sweat in the early am. My tsh is .9. Mostly this sweating is around my head and shoulders. If I wake up to this (which is most likely due to one of the cats), I just flip the pillow and go right back to sleep.

In my case this started when I shifted my hgh dose to nighttime. Hgh can be the cause of hyperthyroidism and hyperandrogenism.

I think this cat is in love with me.
