How I Managed to Get SCAMMED As the Seller

Hello fellow Meso members, I will tell you a short story about how I managed to get scammed as a seller. I know it sounds strange but this guy might be professional so I wanted to warn everyone (especially other sources) about him. I have spoken to @mands about this before the thread, he said I may open up the topic here I hope its not against any rule to reveal a scammer.

Also this scammer still has the chance to pay if he doesnt, I will reveal ALL info about him here. Now I will send ss without the mail or name details.

Normally I am very careful about client discretion, I regularly delete previous orders fro my mails and system and I even had some problems due to that as there were people who manted to make re-order or were expecting me to have their previous adress details which I didnt have due to that security measure I am trying to take. But this guy is a scammer he deserves everything in my opinion.

So our story starts with this guy when he makes a medium sized order and sends payment details,

Here as you see he says he is from Meso but didnt give his Meso name so I am not sure if he is a member or just a person who reads the forum. I am pretty sure that he will be trying to hammer me here so we will hopefully understand who he is :)

After this payment was processed without a problem and shipping was sent

Here he showed a bit of a problematic buyer sign but no big deal, I am aware its not easy to order stuff overseas and send that amount of transfer.

Then, the shipping stayed in customs for a while, I have sent it with EMS which is rapid shipping that lasts about one week mostly but rarely (%5 chance) when postal service is overloaded, they take them to customs as an excuse to make them wait and later they go out, it doesnt mean the shipping is seized even if it was seized I reship free of charge for all orders from USA, UK, Spain, Greece, France and many other countries.

Among these mails, our scammer guys sends me a few mails demanding reship againand again and he didnt care about my assurance that the shipping would arrive without a problem. The same day after I made the reship, his first package started to move again. He could just reject second one and it would be returned but he wanted to get it too and agreed to pay 275 usd instead of 330 usd which was the original price of the shipping and I also sent plenty of extra stuff with discount to make up for latency.

Then I keep on writing him about the issue and waiting for him to do his part but he doesnt respond, when I say I will publish his name, he suddenly gets back from vacation :) He claims I said I would reship for free, yes I do but I do when shipping is seized, not when we agree on receiving both shipping with a price.

By saying I asked moderator below I meant asking @mands. I dont know if he is a moderator or not. Jut didnt want to give his name to the scammer guy.

And now as he has both shippings and not paid even the cheap price that we have agreed, he says the things below and tries to get away with it :)

He still has the chance to pay for the second shipping, but he needs to pay the original price which was about 330(for the headache he has caused me I want it all now), if he doesnt pay in 2 days, I will post his name and adress details here. I hope he doesnt pay because it will be fun, there are more important things in life than money (like having fun) :)

Also this guy might be professional about this so all sources should be careful.
not to whitewash the guy (I don't know and don't care who he is) but

1
I'm pretty sure sources have a 50% profit margin or greater
Profit Margin
In simple words for every dollar you get from customers, your costs are only $0.50 or less. If you don't, you're taking a HUGE legal risk for little money = idiot (not meant to insult but that's what it is)

2
So you're not really losing any money, you're STILL BREAKING EVEN
of course that's not fun, but not THAT bad either
I'd take it as a loss and move on. Cost of doing business. At worst I'd post his (Meso) name but not his address/real name. It may (and almost certainly will) backfire on you.

3 Can you please front me a few KILOS?
I promise I will pay. You are guaranteed I ain't running away as I got a valuable reputation to keep, you know

The "scammer" guy made the payment so I can no longer call him a scammer. I would like to thank him even though I dont know his name here :)

He told me when I first opened the topic that he would pay in September which I didnt believe but I kept on mailing him and I was really gonna send him a shipping with "steroids for resale" written on it.

So even though he kept me waiting for a long time and he wouldnt have paid if I didnt push him a little but the problem is now solved. Some clients that owe me are like taking a dump. Mostly they work themselves out but sometimes they need a push.

Just have in mind that the source threated to release personal info for 300$, what will he do with you info if business takes a bad turn.

Yeah and I am proud of it. It doesnt matter what is the amount, scammer is a scammer. It wasnt 300 also, its was 275 usd :)

Also it turned out he is not exactly a scammer.

yep, that is fucked up on many levels.
Will never consider using this source.

By your own words he's not exactly a scammer because he eventually paid. Too bad you're still a rat fuck for threatening to out his personal info because you reshipped without a letter.
Why anyone would do business with you is beyond me.

Def would not order from here, according to the source it was clearly a scam, and maybe it was, but what if it was a legitimate dispute or disagreement or misunderstanding? Those happen all the time. Not exactly comforting to know that in that situation you'd be facing extortion

Personal info, I wouldn't release that. Username I would release. I feel like anyone who scams should be exposed, member to source or source to member. Any amount of scamming from either side is bad for the group.

Under this circumstance I wouldn't release info due to the payment being made.

Personal info is too much though...

I believe he was threatening him to do that but was not actually going to do so. We had talked about this in PM when he contacted me about the scam.

Mands mentioned the above in TP's thread, but odd they way that he worded it earlier today

He only paid due to the pressure from this thread...fucker was still trying to scam, so even if he paid, he's a scammer in my book.
