How long does testosterone withdrawals last?

this is miserable. Last trt injection was nov 3. 2 weeks ago is when symptoms started.
Hcg twice a week and no pct. doctor said to just stop while I recover from an illness.

What the fuck!?? I’m losing my shit. Does anyone have any idea how long of a ride I’m in for? I feel like I’m losing my mind. Simply losing my mind. Absolutely miserable.

Feel like I’m asking the same questions. Just desperate.

Is it to late to start pct?

I’m going to say follow doctors orders. If you’re on TRT, why are you going to try PCT?

I stopped trt nov 3. Cold turkey. Although I’m still on hcg.
That’s my question, how long does it take to bounce back without pct or is it to late to pct??
I feel I was ill advised. Had I known it was this miserable I would of tapered or looked further into my own pct. lesson learned

If I didn’t have other health problems I would stay on trt

Wow, so much to address. How long have you been on TRT? I presume it was doctor prescribed? Do you know what your test levels were before starting TRT?

I’m going to offer my *opinion* so that no one blasts me... if your starting T levels were low and that’s why you were put on PCT, then you will more than likely not be able to bounce back even from a PCT.

Not trying to get too personal, but what is the reason the doc has you off of your TRT?

As tbagger said this is my *opinion*

I would get back on trt, you have to consider your wellbeing. The stuff is no joke

If u don't mind me asking what are your symptoms I'm wondering if ur used to the good feeling you had before or if you have actual negative effects from stopping if that makes sense

So my TT was like 325 and FT was 41 I believe off memory. Been on trt for only 4 months. Doctor prescribed 170mg e/w cyp
What illness, may I ask?

Pericarditis. Inflammation around the heart. I’ve had it before but not this bad. It’s typically a viral infection or related to autoimmune but not in my case. Rheumatologist suggested I come off tonjust rule out I wasn’t habits reaction to it

Depression, don’t want to get out of bed. CRAZY ANXIETY, dizzy, fuzzy feeling in my head, sensitive skin, hot flashes, mood swings, fatigue, muscle weakness, no appetite. Strangely my sex drive is up and down.

The sex drive up an down could he from the hcg working an Waring off maybe more would help keep that consistent everything but the sensitive skin sounds like low t Damn idk have you talked to your doctor about this

This needs to be addressed by a doctor. Maybe @Michael Scally MD would chime in.

There’s not much info about pericarditis and trt. There’s really no reason for this to effect pericarditis. I have a history of this condition so I don’t feel this is it.
I’ll get over this condition. I’m just curious when does the withdrawals end or when do you start to feel not as bad? I definitely didn’t feel this bad before treatment.

Has the pericarditis gone away since you’ve been off the TRT? You’ve had more than enough time for it (Test) to be out of your system.

You’re clear of exogenous test. But there’s no guarantee you rebound at all. If you were put on TRT the BEST you could hope for coming off is returning to your suboptimal level. More logical result? You come back lower or don’t recover. It’s not withdrawal you’re feeling. It’s your body having no means to produce it’s own test since the Cyp shut it down.

EDIT: what was your hcg run at for trt? No other drugs in play?

Not entirely. It’s gotten better but still active. My concern isn’t that right now.

It’s how long does it take to bounce back

I don’t think it’s “too late.” It is odd that if you were using hcg and never stopped that there’s been no recovery.

Is this TRT your first step in to the AAS world?

There are a couple docs here that may hve some insight for you @Michael Scally MD @Dr JIM. Clear of that, you need to have a conversation with your doctor about this.

Yes. First time ever taking aas or any sort of aas.
Right now I actually feel ok oddly. Not 100% but a bit better. The past 2 weeks been hell. This morning was hell (anxiety, brain fog) right now I’m feeling a bit better. Appearing to come in waves now. Idk. This just sucks

I emailed my doctor and he said to come in on Friday. Not sure what the plan is.

Oh yeah , one of the worst feeling times of my life . Ran out of testosterone while I was working bush Alaska , 3-4 weeks later I thought I was dying/going insane . Deep depression . Took 2 months of TRT to get right ....Goodluck ~Ogh
