How much more weight to lose ?

I mean, don’t aim for a specific weight loss goal—just stay in a slight deficit (~300 kcal), eat a ton of protein, and lose as much as you need to be happy with your body.

I’d hold off on worrying about getting lower body fat and focus on the double shoulder abscess & gyno.

Double shoulder abscess should be your number 1 priority along with a game plan for the gyno.

For the gyno, i’d start ralox or tamoxifen for 1 month straight starting today. (Some of it will be reduced with a serm, but not all of it )

might sound harsh or be an unpopular opinion, but you shouldn’t be focusing on anything other than getting the abcsees & gyno taken care of.

Those two things alone right now are destroying your physique and getting lower body fat right now without taking care of those two things are going to make them look even worse.

2. Would 200g protein be sufficient for retaining lean mass if I am cutting 1-2lbs a week?

You will get a lot of different opinions on this, but I always suggest keeping protein as high as possible, and that is so much more true on a cut. So I would suggest you raise that 200 grams daily.

Since you like Mac11wildcat's advice, I would suggest you read his thread in the bodybuilding forum. It chronicles his rise from amateur to pro, and he shares a lot of diet information throughout, both cutting and bulking, sometimes even with specific food choices. I don't think you ever see him as low as 200 grams of protein.

Your body uses three signals to hold onto muscle. (1) resistance training. (2) hormones, and (3) protein. It is a three legged stool. If you remove one of the legs, the stool does not stand up.

Also, excess protein, to be converted to glucose, requires a metabolically expensive process that ends up storing about 2.8 calories per gram instead of 4, which makes protein the lowest calorie thing you can eat when it comes to your body composition.

So, you asked. I answered. Raise it.

Somebody else will come along to tell you how they made it to the Olympia stage on 200 grams a day, so review what they have to say and make your choice.

I really do encourage you to read Mac11wildcat's thread, though. It is a great resource for this forum.

OK, what the hell is going on with your shoulders??? That does not look like it is even in the correct place for a deltoid injection.

How long has it been like that?

What happened?
It’s a long story I already had to explain it to promuscle forum. It’s being taken care of that’s all I’ll say about it.

Shoulder access is already being taken care of. I am too broke to afford gyno and won’t be able to get rid of it surgically anytime soon, like it would be years before I could get it removed.

Unfortunately that’s the way it is. Should I just give up on training and goals then?

I'd say legit 12-16%, now I know most people underestimate body fat and think they're leaner than in reality.

Out of the numbers game, I think you look sustainably good if it makes any sense. However 5-10 pounds more is doable for some special ocassion, say for example a summer vacation or whatever where you want to look your best without sacrificing it all and feeling good in the process.

I would personally (and do) keep +- this body fat percentage and cut down further when needed, like I said a date or something where you have to look your best. This way it's way more sustainable and makes you feel good and happy in the long run.

Good enough is perfect, that sounds true. Unless you wanna compete of course, but that's a different story then.

I mean you should give up on whatever cycle you were doing that caused that in the first place.

I don’t understand how people let gyno get that bad. When you start to notice the slightest instances of gyno you should be trying to stop it or get it under control.

You seemed to let it grow ? That didn’t form over night.

I don’t think your shoulders have been taken care of like you say. If I was told by a medical professional that my abscess were taken care and still looked like that I would be finding another medical professional asap.

My shoulders are in the process of being taken care of. I’ve had to go to several appointments so unfortunately it’s not a one day in and out solution. It’s going to be surgically removed eventually

The gyno was from Tren and test cycle back in 2020. It was my first time using Tren and I didn’t have any ancillaries.

Personally I’d be bulking up until I got both of those things taken care of and gone completely.

But other than that you got an awesome physique for sure.

Wish you the best with the abscess removals

And I’d start some tamo or ralox in meantime and see if any of the gyno decreases.

How did you end up with abscesses on both shoulders? What exactly did you inject? Did you mix oil with water, or was it contaminated gear? It’s unusual to develop abscesses on both shoulders, so something must have gone wrong.

This isn’t meant to mock you in any way. I’m genuinely curious. Sharing your experience could help others avoid making the same mistakes.

As for gyno, if you can’t address it now and it’s not bothering you, just leave it alone until you can.

When dieting down, don’t focus too much on the scale. Instead, take weekly progress pics first thing in the morning and compare them to the previous week. If you see more definition and lines, don't change a thing. Small and steady progress adds up over time and in just a few weeks time you'll be surprised with the end result.

If your body composition hasn’t changed, add cardio and slightly reduce carbs. Keep repeating this process until you reach your desired body fat percentage. It’s a simplified approach, but that’s the core principle, until final couple weeks of prep.
