How often do you take a week off?

The shit people get amusement out of on here. "Shove it" will soon be a house hold name. Lol
 
I only take time off when sick or traveling but I don't travel much so I'd say maybe once a year I'll take 3-4 days off in a row then jump back on the gravy train!
 
So...today is day 8 I've been out of the gym. I've done some push-ups here and there, but nothing serious. My neck is still feeling just slightly tweaked when I move in certain directions, but I can tell I've been out of the gym too fucking long and I have this raging drive to get back in there and throw around some iron.

Any suggestions guys?

Just kidding, seriously I'm taking a week off from upper body next week. PM's page posted this the other day around the same time I was reading up on taking a break lol. Delts feeling overworked, last break was 14 weeks ago
 
Only time I ever take more than a couple days is either when I'm really sick or when I had to have surgery done and was stuck in bed.
 
I take a week off usually every 3-4 months. Only thing that sucks is I lose some strength but by the 2-3 week back I recover it.
 
The only time for rest is when you're dead.

But all bs aside 1 day a wk maybe 2 if my body needs it. Any more than that laziness kicks in.
 
I take a week every 3 mos. I can't believe that people would lose strength from taking a week off unless you're peaking for a strength competition. I don't lose strength even with 2wks off. I think it's in your head.
