How To Find a New Dr.

I had quite a time getting the treatment I needed and wanted. My GP gave me the test creme to try first. Then he sent me to a uro, who was a piece of shit and would not listen to anything I tried to say.

I ended up with an Endo who is cool as hell!!!! Really a top notch dude. He runs a multitude of tests every 4 months, and gives me what I need. I am lucky to have insurance right now, or I couldnt pay for all of this. Keep looking for a Dr you can work with. I can usually tell from the first consultation if we are going to get along ok.
Good luck finding a dr who is interested AND likes you as a Patient!

I should have added to my previous post... MyDoc is in KY., Louisville area. Send me an e-mail if anyone wants the hook up for my doctor. He is a cool dude, and will listen to what you have to say. He wont write HCG or arimidex (I tried and tried), but he will give generous Test, doses.
Take care

Most end up coming frustrated from endos and end up coming down to see Dr O and my self. We also honor major PPO insurance as well.

Hear ya am frustrated with doc's myself, it's horrible here in Germany. Posted a thread with some more information in this board. Where are you located?

This doctor (Runow) is Genova Diagnostic representative in Germany.
He may be also into Testosterone replacement, worth checking.

Does anybody know of a good doctor (preferrably a D.O.) in the Seattle or Tacoma area that effectively treates Androgen Deficiency?

I'm a long-time lurker here.

No history of steroids or anabolics. I'm 24 years old, and these problems have progressively worsened for at least the past decade. My diet has been good for the past 6 years, and OCD-excellent for the past 2 years.

I'm looking for a good physician in SoCal. (Orange or LA county, but I'm willing to go further).

Confirmed problems:

- LOW: cortisol (ZRT diurnal saliva), testosterone (T/E2 ratio = 10-12:1 instead of 20-30), dhea, and T3.
- Non-specific AutoImmune condition: elevated ANA
- other blood abnormalities...

Symptoms: chronic fatigue and debilitation, systemic weakness/pain, chronic ridiculous insomnia, etc... the usual for "HPA dysregulation" which Dr. Mariano (who I have not ruled out) has described on this forum.

I would approach Dr. Karlis Ullis (does he have a website?) mentioned in this thread, but I'm afraid my issues MIGHT be broader than what he generally treats. I don't know...

I currently have a short list of doctors I'm considering, but like many, I'm frustrated with my past experiences and I want to get it right this time. I've been to hundreds of appointments by now...no joke.

Thanks for any help.
