There's a thread about an @Analyzer test where raws were tainted with Sodium chloride (table salt)
Standard Raws (Analyzer) fail and a pass
There's another one about oil insoluble gunk on the bottom of the beaker
Dragon Ordnance
So to get rid of insolubilities
you'll try to dissolve raws in distilled water
steroids aren't soluble in water, so if something dissolves, they are impurities.
1 For every gram of raws, measure 10 ml of distilled water with a clean syringe, graduated cylinder or pipette. Pour both in a beaker or bottle.
2 Stir it hard for a few minutes.
3 Most (or all) powder will sink to the bottom.
4 Then you have 2 ways to separate powders from water:
4.1 Allow to sit undisturbed for a couple hours. Insoluble steroids will sink on the bottom, while water soluble impurities remain dissolved
4.1.1 Get a cooking baster, or lab pipette and draw the liquid without disturbing the sunk powders
4.1.2 Keep the moist raws, and allow to fully air dry, or warm to hasten up water evaporation. (sure some water soluble impurities remain, but it's a tiny amount)
4.1.3 Pour the drawn water in a flat pan or beaker and allow to air dry, or warm to evaporate. Then nothing should remain there. If you see lots of white powder residues, then your raws are cut with water soluble impurities, probably salt.
4.2 Get some filter paper and a funnel
4.2.1 Stir the raws+water, and pour on the filter paper
4.2.2 Recover the purified raws from the filter paper, try not to scape the paper to hard as to avoid drawing paper particles in.
4.2.3 recover the water flushed down, pour on a flat pan or beaker, evaporate water and see if some residues appear.
