How to leave comfortability and do new things?

I tend to gravitate towards comfort. I will do something and always end up back where i feel comfortable. But the new things are something that would be way more beneficial then where i was once comfortable.

For example. Reading vs coming on here.

I started reading books and lessening time on meso, (which is my only form of social media). I felt much better reading, but it was out of my comfort zone. 2 weeks goes by. And here i am back doing my old routine. When my new one would benefit my body and mind way more.

How do you start and stay doing new things that are out of your comfort zone?

This goes for so many aspects of my life, anytime i try to gravtitate away from whete i used to be comfortable, it doesnt last.

I always liked to try and constantly expand my mind, learn new things, and attempt to embrace different personalities/cultures/mindsets etc when I was younger coz I thought it would somehow improve my life and make me a better person...... but after 30 years of hassle/aggravation/problems/betrayals always caused by people I let into my life, I can only suggest that you stick with what you know so far bro and stay in your comfort zone and learn to enjoy the simple (safe/secure) things in your life.

The grass is never greener on the other side and people will always let you down and stab you in the back eventually regardless of what you do for them !!!

As for Meso....ask yourself why you are actually on here? Do you need help with steroids/training/diet/bodybuilding/weightlifting/sports/online security etc or do you enjoy social interaction with hormonally challenged men living niche and very strange lifestyles?

Have you got any hobbies? I can guarantee you that you will have a much more pleasant and friendly experience on other websites/groups with members who are living `normal` lives with no involvement in illicit drugs and a shared interest in the normal things you enjoy doing and talking about everyday (pets/gardening/painting/running/motorcycle touring etc...whatever.)

Social media??? Fuck that shit bro !!!

Fuck social media

I do come on meso once per day because I like to stay updated on the sources I use. I feel this is beneficial instead of spending 5hrs one day reading updated threads since my last orders.

I don’t have cable. I don’t agree with it, I think social media and cable tv aren’t good for society. If I’m not working…I’m lifting, eating, sleeping, cooking, or spending time with my family.

To answer your question-

Do what you enjoy and that makes you happy. You don’t have to force being uncomfortable just to get something new in your life. But reading is a great thing to do. It’s calming, educational, and healthy. It also helps me sleep well.

I so relate. I've explored the Myers Briggs typology and tested everytime as an ISFJ. Which so happens to not be crazy about trying new things, fits me pretty much.

Nothing wrong with trying new things, but if you find them lame, continuing to do them would be silly. I hate reading, I enjoy fucking, lifting, and reading message boards, so I do.

I like watching movies, I don't like concerts or operas, so I do what I like. We over think things.

Over think is an understatement
