How to perform an N=1 experiment.

I'd like to trial 2-3 months of:

Masteron 175mg + E2 (1-2mg)
Vs
Testosterone 175mg

I'd have a base of 50mg nandralone per week and 2.5mg Tirzepatide.

Training and nutrition would be kept as stable as possible. Blood tests every 6 weeks or so. I've chosen 175mg testosterone enanthate because it's a dose I can tolerate without messing up my haematology and other markers based on historical bloodwork.

Is there a way to do this to make it actually relevant scientifically?

A 1 person self study wouldn't be considered any kind of evidence of relevance in any current reality. It would just be an anecdotal report.

OK. How to structure an anecdotal report to make it more scientifically credible?

I'd at least be interested to see if Masteron could help lower haematocrit while supporting sexual function for example.

This would be helpful as it's a common issue seen with TRT for example.

Something like this?

Management of Testosterone-Induced Erythrocytosis Using Drostanolone Enanthate Plus Estradiol Cypionate: Preservation of Sexual Function and Hematological Improvement in a Primary Hypogonadal Male.

I really don't understand what the clinical benefit would be beyond secondary erythrocytosis. Limiting the scope would make it a bit easier on me to perform.

So I delayed my usual Wednesday 62.5mg test E and 50mg Decca dose (I've been titrating down).

Instead I did 50mg test E Friday and 80mg masteron E. Today I did another 150mg masteron E because I was feeling like absolute shit

Classic low testosterone symptoms of low energy. I'll give it a few more days before I finally buckle and throw in the towel.

Despite my Modafinil dose of 200mg per day I've got bugger all energy. Something interesting is that my resting heart rate continues to drop as does my blood pressure. Even tho I have bugger all energy my watch is telling me my body battery is high. So it seems to be a lack of sympathetic drive?

On cycle my sleep RHR is 62mg but now it's like 55 got to 51 on Friday. I'm starting to realise either nandralone or testosterone jacks up my heart rate significantly.

I'm leaning towards nandralone as having a dramatic effect on RHR.

I don't know if it's the Tirzepatide or the lack of testosterone absolutely nuking my energy. Maybe it's the minor chest infection I've got?

Who knows. Blood pressure was 125/70 with a pulse of 60 this morning upon waking. Sexual function is fine. But I'm considerably less interested than before.

damn - and here are us mere mortals running on beats per minute, when yours runs on miligrams!!

jokes aside - both Test and Nandrolone can and do impact HR. In people sensitive to adrenergic stimulation, it can be significant.

Both sensitise your adrenergic response and heighten sympahetic drive, and Nandrolone can be equivalent to Tren/more so in this regard. I find it raisees my HR just the same.

So, you've randomly changed the variables based on feels. Your results will have zero actual relevance scientifically. This is a perfect model of how not to dose yourself.

Self experiments are the best experiments. If it wasn't for people just deciding fuck it, I'm gonna see what happens if I do this the world would be so much less interesting.

I can't remember the dude's username on here, Parabolic something maybe? He did a lot of self experimenting with using non aromatizing compounds as a base with exogenous E2 and gained like 100+ pounds of muscle in a couple years. Science!

Would you mind sharing the link? I'd be interested in watching it.

There are a few other vids on that channel that he appeared in - they are on the livestream tab of the channel. It's around 20minutes in on that one that he discusses the boldenone cycles I mentioned and goes through bloodwork.

He's appearing in another one in a few days, which you can see on the Live tab as scheduled for the 9th.
