The tester gets a sample of an unknown liquid. He tests it to find compound and concentration. He sends those results back to the customer. If he’s in on some scheme, he must be psychic to consistently get the same results with such luck, given he has no idea what he’s supposed to be getting.
Now, if it’s sent in by the source themselves, then yeah obviously only the two of them know the validity of those results.
Edit: also, in this case, QSC has had some underdosed/mislabeled results in the past. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. Those complaints have gotten a lot less frequent the last several months though, enough so that given the high volume of their sales and enormous compound catalog, I’m not terribly worried. I’ve bought from them a few times now and I’m happy thus far.
If Jano and the source(s) were in cahoots, it would be as simple as cross checking the email of the client to see if he is mutual or not. E.g, Jano gets a test request via email, asks the source(s) if they have had an order with that same email on file, they can then deduce where the gear is from and proceed to fix the results.
Not saying this is the case, just that it's not a bulletproof system at all.
