Ok so where I work I have access to a HPLC as well as GCs and many other instruments. I'm fully aware of how to use these instruments however I wanted to ask if anyone would be able to help me interpret the peaks as they are obviously not calibrated for analyzing hormones.
In the end I want to be able to analyze and test my own gear.
Any help would be appreciated

Sir standards are just samples we know will read at a certain value per our COAs so hypothetically if I was to test a UGL test sample vs a pharma grade test sample can I not compare those results?

You may need to extract steroids from other fillers/oils.
Thus needing additional chemicals like very pure Methanol, Acetonitrile, and addl equipment like vortex-mixers, centrifuges, extraction columns, etc

Yes it's possible. In fact I've heard of some guys who used big pharma oils as improvised reference standards. It worked well enough, they said.

You don't calibrate anything.
With the reference standard you measure the peak intensity at 100% concentration.

At the very least you should dilute the standard (no matter if a certified reference standard, or big-pharma gear) to have 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% 0% standards.
You can first eyeball it for a incredibly accurate result, given the simplicity
and then create an Excel table/chart to fine tune the results.
Something like this:

no questions asked, you bring the samples/standards, preferably prediluted, we just filter it, inject it in the HPLC machine, print the graph for you
now you make sense of the chart yourself and GTFO

This is amazing! Ok so I'm sure I've access to all the required reagents for extraction and equipment however I'm not familiar with the process. I will look into this.
FYI I wanted to use this to test not gear I'm making myself but rather UGL stuff I'm currently buying. Only downside is that it will take about 2-3ml per sample. Never really measured those small vials. Still small price to pay for reassurance

Do not pay attention to this guy he is not chemist and spamming here with nonsenses. Maybe he is DEA and trying to build here reputation.

If you are in the lab the best is use GC/MS if they have it. The software is called GC/MS ChemStation it has huge library with like 200 000 chemicals, it will show you right away what you have. it has already data for most hormones.

But if you want to know the concentration you need standards to calibrate it. There are places you can get is easily like sigma aldrich.
