Hypothetical Training Question

If you had free time everyday of the week to lift weights whenever you wanted to and for as long as you wanted to what would your training routine look like ???
Serious answers only please...

Doubtful you could recover from lifting everyday, especially if you’re in the gym very long at all.

Conditioning can also be tough to recover from.

I’m guessing 3-5 days of intelligent weight lifting with some LISS mixed in is about as good as it gets

Of course if the food isn’t there to support the recovery and the rest isn’t there to support the recovery you’re just gonna run yourself into the ground and then be making dumb choices like “must be the drugs. Let’s up the drugs.”

Also depends on goals.

4 days lifting based on bench/OHP/deads/squat split, each session less than 2hrs and 2 days cardio, 80% LISS with 20% high intensity. Only limiting factors would be recovery for the legs and CNS fatigue.

Not too far off what I was doing until tennis elbow reared it's head but that was on an 8 day rotation, not 7.

5-6x a week, hitting bodyparts every 2-4 days depending on how well they recovered from the past workout, biasing more volume towards weak bodyparts, around 8-12 sets pr workout pr bodypart with 0-1RIR on average.

More isnt infinitely better.. you can only benefit from as much as you can recover from.
