I fell off and landed hard!

Welp gonna have to modify my lifting technique for a while. I crushed my middle finger and ring finger under the motor of my truck yesterday. My motor mount wasn't lining up and I had my fingers between the motor and the frame saddle to feel how far off the stud and hole were and suddenly my jack slipped out from under the motor and the motor came crashing down. My wife had to come save me but it was stressful trying to explain to her how to use a jack to turn the handle to lower and raise it and where to put the wood block all while I'm writhing and twisting in pain while have 800lbs slowly crushing 2 fingers. All in all it took about 3 minutes for her to hear me and then figure out how to lift the motor off of me. I wished I took a picture of my fingers after it happened because it looked so frigging gross seeing then so flattened out like that, like literally my finger were onlya little over an eighth of an inch thick and probably double the width. I think my ring finger is going to be fine but my middle finger is pretty screwed up.

Talk about some pain my God did that frigging hurt!!

Good luck during recovery bro

Sorry to hear that man, but dont let it set you back. That and I kinda still want to see pics lol.

I feel you on the stress of trying to explain something while in crazy amounts of pain and of course your wife was probably panicking as well.

Hopefully your doc and surgeon (if needed) are solid.

Well the news isn't so bad. I went to the quick care clinic yesterday for X-rays and it's about what I thought it was. The tip of my middle finger has a couple small fractures and the tip of the ring finger has one fracture. I was unlucky but got lucky that my knuckle wasn't under there too cause then I would have needed a surgeon to fix it. I have a splint on both fingers and taped them together to keep them immobilized.

As far as training goes I guess it's back to the gym where I'll stick to machines until I can grip a barbell again with all fingers on my left hand.

Cardio ought to be fair game.

And sorry to laugh, but the way you described trying to explain how to operate the jack to your wife . . . I busted up laughing.

I refuse to mess with engine mounts without a crane and an assistant.

Glad to hear that you didn’t fuck your self up too badly.

Now would be a good time to show your wife how to operate that jack haha.

Welp I did ny routine at the local PF and man oh man do I hate gyms especially Planet Fitness but it serves a purpose and for what little it costs per month I just don't see a need to cancel my membership.

I did chest press 4 sets 12 reps with the seat up and 4 sets 10 reps with the seat down to try and get a decline angle on the pec.
Then I hit the fly machine for 3 sets of 12 reps.
I went and worked shoulders on the shoulder press machine for 4 sets of 8 with a heavier weight to try and get ny shoulders sore.
I gave it all I could muster to do side lateral raises with 20lb dumbbells where I was able to go 2 half assed sets of 10 until my fingers started throbbing from the increased blood pressure in my fingers.
Finished the main workout on the tricep machine for 4 sets of 15 with the whole stack.

After that I did some abdominal work and called it a night. Had a shake on the way home and a couple pieces of pork tenderloin and some brocolli when I got home.

Good to see you are on the mend brother and lucky it wasn't as severe an injury.

As for Planet Fitness it's my 2nd gym and close to my home while my main gym is across town. I know the PF is the butt of jokes but I go there occasionally myself.

Well I think the Keto diet has run its course for me. I as far as fat loss goes I got the low hanging fruit and dropped 32lbs. I've stalled in the weight loss department and in order to keep dropping weight on this diet I need to start counting calories and weighing things out which I don't feel like doing whole restricted to the food choices i have under keto rules.

I'm going to sit down and come up with a game plan and diet for after the keto diet. I think I'm going to try carb loading on workout days and run a deficit on off days and cardio days. I'm gonna give lean gains a shot this go around and see how I fair after traditionally being a bulk and cut guy.

I'm just tired of lackluster workouts and not having a lot of stored energy for strenuous activities etc. I will go back to keto in the future for weight loss and help with inflammation etc but for now I need a change of pace.

Yeah, I saw someone online saying, due to injury, they could only use one of those but it turned out to be the best thing they ever did for increasing leg size.
I also substitute leg press for squats and rack pulls for deadlift.

Man oh man am I excited to see my upcoming bloodwork! I hit identical total T numbers of 1079 (gods honest truth and I think I had posted one of the bloodwork #'s under my old handle, and I could probably dig up the second one online in my patient portal) on Pharmacom enanthate and DYEL test cypionate both at 150mg per week. I've been running Stanfords test cypionate 125mg a week for a couple years now and I want to see where those numbers fall in relation to the dose.

125mg is 83.33% of 150mg and 83.33% of 1079 is 899.13 so we'll see how close those numbers pan out. I know it won't be exact but I'd expect it to be within 50 to 70 of the 150mg numbers.

I've always had a feeling that Stans test cyp was a little less potent but not enough to be really worried about it though.
