First time using.

Hate the whole process... Process time, fees

Still don’t really understand how more secure than money gram ..

Guess I am old school but would like to go back to going to CVS and sending MG...
 
Well for coinbase users, I just read where coinbase is blocking transfers since bitcoin value is skyrocketing again. I'm assuming they can't make the same from fees or something, I just read this today

Yea seems like the holds are arbitrary. Feels like a scam.

not sure what they would benefit holding funds until price drops but seems to be what’s happening.

On Coinbase you don’t hold your private keys, so any bitcoin you “own” on there can also be sold to someone else. Not usually noticed unless everyone wants to sell like when the price spikes. Same on all exchanges unfortunately.

Interesting how Coinbase always crashes when the price is high or dropping fast... I signed up at a couple other places and plan on not keeping all the eggs in the same basket.

So how can that be profitable to them unless they are in bed with Bitcoin and hedging short selling
 
For me it's not a hassle, but a real bitch because of the fees! I use a free wallet from playstore and buy from an atm then send funds. Today I sent $208CAN and I payed almost $45 in fees, most to buy and like 8 bucks to send. It's 100% anonymous as I don't show any id so there's that lol.
 
Agreed! Total pain in the ass. I never used it before and didn’t realize I had to wait for verification with cash app. After that they only let me do around $200 before it kept failing. I ended up using Exodus app to do the remaining but they only allow $250 at a time. Fees probably ended up being around $40-$60 or more by the end.

Also how do you guesstimate how much to send when you don’t see the fees until you are about to click send?

I just buy more than I need just to be sure and I don't use cash app, I use a simple wallet from play store as super easy. Just download and use right away. I buy coins from atm's and use the app to send. Pricey, but easy and completely anonymous.

Good idea. Next time I will just plan ahead and buy a little more than needed just in case.
 
Just buy monero from an exchange ex. kraken.com send xmr to your own monero wallet.
Send xmr from your Monero wallet to xmr.to and convert in anonymous bitcoin. Send those bitcoins to source.

Fees are much less then what you are paying at the moment using ATM at least last time I tried to send 2000 euro worth in Monero to xmr.to it was 70 euro fee. Not much compared to yours.

This is a good method if you wanna be anonymous. If you don't care just buy bitcoin from exchange and don't use stupid app that charge you shit load of money in fees.

Hey guys if you're having trouble with bitcoin, you should check out shakepay. Its a free app where you can buy bitcoin through interac e transfer. I haven't used it yet but it seems really simple . They say they have no fees though , which is not totally true because you buy the bitcoin at a slightly higher price than market but its like 5$ more for buying 300$ of bitcoin so i think its okay
