I really like Modafinil - even at low doses

one thing I like about moda is how it doesn't seem to build a tolerance quite like how other stims do. I take 100mg modalert and 100mg caffeine and can run 7 miles in 49 minutes.

If I were to try running 7 miles on adderal my heart would probably explode. I've tried basically every brand of moda at this point including the couple armodafinal brands. Wakalert/artvigil.

It hasn't fully replaced caffeine for me but it has dramatically cut down my caffeine intake by half at least. My only complaint is my sleep quality might be reduced abit.

But that could be from HGH, Reta, trt, etc. Hard to pinpoint the culprit when running half the pharmacy in my daily routine.

I’m not sure about Modawake being discontinued, that would be a shame.

If cost is no concern, Modalert from Sun Pharma is the best brand of modafinil anywhere. World class. It’s not stronger than others, just very consistent from batch to batch.

Modvigil is next best. If ModAlert is 10/10, Modvigil is 9/10.

Modaheal is good but not for long term storage. It’s not in all aluminum blister packs like the others. In all aluminum modafinil good for 10 years. For 3 years or less storage it’s fine.

Shree is almost like a UGL. I wouldn’t buy them unless there’s no other choice.

If you want to try Armodafinil:

Waklert 50 or 150 is the best (From Sun, maker of Modalert)

Artvigil 50, 150, 250 (!) are very good.

For what it’s worth, I’ve never seen a test showing “bunk” Modafinil. They’re always properly dosed. But the way the tablet is made makes a big difference in the way it takes effect (strong and fast, weak and slow) and short or long duration.

I'd stick to whatever has the most recent hplc testing, modvigil seems to have had a few recent at the correct dosage.

Good looking out. I may end up switching.

I've seen a number of good tests for modvigil and artvigil. That's what I use and it's good stuff.

I have never seen a lab test showing underdosed Modafinil/Armodafinil. Ever.

The active ingredient is less than a penny a pill.

Particle size determines absorption, and therefore speed on onset, duration, and "strength".

Wow, I can't believe you are recommending Modalert. Tell me where you are getting this Modalert that works. I've spent a lot of money on Modalert only to toss it in the trash because it put me to sleep. Same thing with Waklert.

I have to say Modafinil is such a life saver if I slept slightly less than I should or if I am a little hungover lol. I did feel it lost some potency using it daily though so I prefer to use it when I need it.

I was about to take 200mg for the first time yesterday, but listened to some of the folks here suggesting 50-100mg. Did 100mg, slight headache like sensation for a bit but when it passed I was pleasantly surprised.

I take Adderall 20mg and got moda to have on hand since sometimes the pharmacy has issues refilling the script for weeks at a time. Instead of taking the adderall yesterday, I just popped the modafinil and it worked well. Id be cautious over 100mg until you really know how it affects you. Didnt have the physical stimulant feel, but mind was awake and going. I am a fan.

Have you taken stimulant medication before? or something along the lines of adhd meds like strattera or wellbutrin that can cause a bit of an boost in energy?

I went with 100mg because I take stimulant daily. Prob wasnt necesarry but I had a good experience. Next time ill order some some of the others kinds to play with

Because Modalert from Sub has been the the gold standard moda for decades, but Modafinil is completely ineffective for a small minority. So when you said Modalert didn’t work, I thought you might be a non responder.

Haha that's weird Ghoul because I found that Modavigil is actually my favourite of the one's I've tried.

I'll order some Sun Pharma next time. Modavigil just seemed nice and smooth every time I used it.

The differences between brands tends to be the pharmacokinetics, ie, time of onset, peak, duration and consistency.

HAB is a solid company, and Modvigil is a far better value than ModAlert. The price of ModAlert has nearly tripled in the last couple of years, and it’s not worth the premium.

Nice. Yeah I tried modaheal and modavigil. Modavigil seems to be more smooth for me.

My new Indiamart guy has 100x modavigil for $10.50 USD.

It's funny in Australia they had a heap of people on Sun pharma ADHD meds that were underdosed and they said their meds stopped working. Nobody believed them until it was tested lol
