She was also charged with resisting arrest and the marks very well could have been a result. Intoxicated people, gun shots fired, not unlikely for an officer to use force in this situation if someone is resisting.

Probably got hit with a PI once he stepped outside of his house. I think they can do the same shit if you get caught drinking and driving. A DWI and they get you with a PI once you step foot out of your vehicle.
I could be wrong, but it would make a PI make sense.

I see your point. But realistically what type of individual do you expect to be sourcing illegal drugs on the internet, risking decades of federal prison time? Manufacturing and selling illegal drugs doesn’t always attract school teachers, despite what breaking bad may have taught us.

It also says that they were “met with resistance and couldn’t come on the property” so this very well could mean they had exited the home to go outside to address the situation in hopes they wouldn’t make it in to the house. At this point the officers said they “had to check to make sure no one was injured and entered the property” they then go on to talk about “checking the residence”
So my guess is he was already outside his house when he Greeted LE in hopes to talk them out of entering his home, at which he was unsuccessful. They THEN entered his home.

Exactly. But it’s so easy to forget that sometimes. I know a lot of people thought TGI was a real good guy. He was charismatic and said the right things. Had a real loyal following.
And then you find out he was intoxicated at 7:07 in the morning firing a gun off indoors. The mugshot doesn’t exactly match the “harm reduction source” that everyone appreciated.
Lessons to learn here.
Also another reason this shit should be legalized and regulated.
With the amount of biz he was doing and being as well versed in sourcing as he was....there are unwritten rules to sourcing that are to be followed if self preservation is at all important. If not for himself then for his family and for all his customers as well.
There are 1 or 2 of his clients in this thread who are concerned because of emails etc.
First and foremost....if LE wasn't there to specifically serve an arrest warrant for him and a search warrant for the location in relation to his online drug dealing...which they obviously were NOT there to do....then there shouldn't be any clue or reference to TGI and that part of his life where the man and his family reside. Jesus Christ.
Its not illegal to have that amount of cash around..what was it? $13,000? That's nothing. But find it next to a steroid lab and 40 keys of powder and you've got proceeds from illegal drug sales.

The type of business he was in...and the revenue he was generating there's no excuse. Packaging and shipping should be done in separate locations...check. Sounds like he had different locations around the country shipping orders for him.
To have the lab and storage of the raws in the same location that he calls home is just asking for trouble.
The idea is that if LE shows up and discovers packaging and shipping materials the trail should go cold after that.
If LE discovers a lab set up...and they aren't in the middle of brewing...LE is looking at a bunch of glassware etc. If the lav is run properly there's a checklist when a batch is finished and vials are filled that includes cleaning and leaving it just as clean as before the brew started. Product should not be stored where its brewed. Manufacturing is a separate charge from possession of just the finished product.
Then there's the guns and ammo. What hasn't been said about firearms and what they will bring to a drug case? In the feds its an extra 5 yrs on top of whatever sentence comes from the drugs.
40 kilo's of raw powder? I'm not an expert on ugl labs and what is kept on hand for inventory so maybe 40 kilos isn't a large amount? It could be looked at an entirely different operation. I have seen ugl's with a list of raws they sell to their customers that brew.
I just know what I've seen here with powder sources who have posted what they have on hand for inventory...and it wasn't 40 kilos?
Point is the sum total of these things in one place is all bad. These things kept separately don't mean nearly as much. Sure, it could start an investigation if certain things are found....but some things found by themselves end where they begin.

This is something that definitely eased my mind a bit. From people that I have talked to outside of this forum, the consensus is that because they found SO much stuff on him, stuff that they weren't even looking for to begin with, they have everything they need and dont need to further peruse the whole steroid operation case. What would the possibility be of customers being on a watch list after all that? I can't imagine they would have much value to the feds anymore
