I was paid a visit by the old hag

That used to happen to me when I was a teen. After I moved out the house, my brother got my bedroom and it happened to him too. Crazy huh.

I get it all the time, I fucking hate it. They say it can be a sign of narcolepsy or it can be caused by irregular sleep cycles.

You think that's scary try a night terror. It's basically a vivid hallucination.. a dream that you're having while you're awake, mobile and aware of the world around you.. only the world around you is different.. terrifying.

Damn, I had this shit really bad last night. The fucking hag was on me good this time, I felt like I was choking for a while, way too long. This shit needs to stop.

you cats are fucking weird. lmfao. i've never even heard of this. i remember in the past, i used to eat really late just before going to bed in hopes of having nightmares and that usually works. damn, i love a good nightmare! but i've never ever experienced what you bros are describing. perhaps the common denominator here is something (like a psychoactive drug, for example) that you all are taking.

now, i still do practice lucid dreaming once in a while, but that's the total opposite of what you are describing. in lucid dreaming i can guide my dreams and i'm in total control. i can take out all opponents, fly, shit horizontally, etc. maybe you all need to smoke some weed as this is known to short-circuit the portion of your brain responsible for attending to the dreamstate. good luck, you freaks...

Dude nothing beats these dreams of fighting people. I got it twice after my last post. One was about my uncle paying a boxer to kill me in the ring (thank God the boxer's skills sucked in the ring), the second was the night before the last, i had an iron bat in my hand and had to go through around 20-25 people. The bat fell from my hand after i finished about 7 of them and i had to revert back to the basics; good old punching.. However, i was scared in the second one as i thought they were going to kill me (some of them had iron bats too)..

Hmmm I've had moments where I couldn't wake up and something was trying to stop me from breathing,,,As to Lucid dreaming thats one of the early disciplines of sorcery(Read the Carlos Castenada books),,,I usually Preach anl teach to those that wish me harm in my dreams til I wake up or I just make myself wake up,,,VDC

good call vdc. castaneda rocks! i've read 'the art of dreaming', 'being-in-dreaming' and 'the sorcerer's crossing'. great stuff. interestingly enough, not too many folks here in the usa have heard of him, let alone read him.
