yep, the island ain't cheap, by any means. but it sure is a whole lot purtier than the city. but i can see the attraction for a younger guy. i used live in the city as well. but you tired of it. of course, there's the commute factor if you live on the island and have to work in the city. that does suck.

i pay 1180 for a one br here on the island...this same apartment would cost me 2000 im sure in NYC

Firs off I am a Israelis and former Musad. I think all the Right wing people should step aside and let the moderates from both sides of even some left wingers in to help defuse the situation . They should let by gones be bygones. The resonable people from both sides should work it out.

From what I know I believe it was 1943 that the jews invaded Palestine and took over Jerusalem becuae that is the birthplace of Judaism and they think that land should be theirs. The Palestinians/Muslims want the land because their religion was formed from Judaism and also because of Muhammad. They cannot share the land because Isreal controls the land and Palestinians have no rights there. On a side note, the US has always helped Israel due to Jewish favor and power and this is where the Arab's hatred for the US began. Neither side will ever submit and their will never be peace in that land as long as the Muslims and Jews exist.

both sides over there are both wrong and right at the same time, there will never be peace over there! palestine didn't want to give the land to israel, they were forced to. it's bible prophecy they would gain their land back(israel), but the truth be told, both sides have legitimate claim to that land, during the six day war in which israel was attacked by egypt,syria, and jordan israel kicked their asses and took land from these countries, and took more of the palestinian land. israel has given most of this land back, but this goes into more then land, israel is the birthplace of the three big religions and as long as people have faith in their religion, then blood will be shed, i see no way for peace over there.
