Ideal calorie surplus amount on blast

What's everyone's ideal calorie surplus amount when on blast? 500 above maintence? 1000?

Currently on blast and not sure how many calories to eat above maintenance, been doing 750 personally but I've been looking fluffy
Just looking for anecdotes, thanks

I'd prob start with 10% surplus over current maintenance cals and adjust on a weekly basis. If you want to be really granular about it to try to stay as lean as possible, I'd get those extra calories all around the workout, pre, intra, and post.
 
I like titrating up as I’m progressing in the gym. So I’ll start at a 300-500 cal surplus and once my progression in the gym starts slowing down or becomes stagnant I’ll bump it 250. Keeps things interesting as I’m getting stronger week by week putting the food to good use.

Forget maintence !

Just ad 250 kcals extra when you start and increase when your gain stabilise. Ideal you gain 200-250 grams a week
