Ideas/thoughts on basic guidelines for sources

A good discussion, I believe, has been been brought up in a sources thread. I started this thread to carry that conversation over to its own thread and keep from bumping that one.
If u wanna read what’s been said it’s in the colossal thread starts half way down on page 49.
For example, a source having a basic guideline to go by and vetting sources in a productive manner so the beginning of a thread isn’t cluttered by the same questions being asked, and things of that nature.
What’s everyone’s thoughts on this???

Proof of stock, finished and raws.

Proof of sterilization process, filters and whatever else. Depends on the lab size.

All with meso and date written on a piece of paper. (Reddit sst scoc required the paper to be crumpled, i believe for protection against photoshopping the date in there, i really dont know tho)

I would like, once the questions are asked, unless you have another question, let the thread go quiet until the source actually responds. My concern being that all the chest pumping is keeping the thread at the top, and providing these guys with free advertising. I'm sure there's a middle ground to that, but it's a thought

This is a good thing.
The only problem is that getting around the “rules” is too easy.
I don’t want this board to be censored....ever.
With that said: is requiring sources to meet certain criteria, BEFORE making sales, considered censorship?
For example:
Requiring a source to show images of their processing equipment, stock of product, and a hygenic facility....BEFORE they post a price list or email address.

It seems, from my reading, that there are many newer or younger or less experienced members buying on day 1 of a lab’s introduction. Now, if we were to remove the ability for a potential buyer to contact the lab before criteria are met; would that help in protecting members from making a bad purchase?
I am not an expert in censorship or its definitions; but I am an expert in harm reduction and promotion of healing. Many of my patients continue to smoke after they have been warned of the risks....BUT, they have been provided with all if the necessary information regarding cigarettes before they go out and buy them.

My suggestion is absloutely not, in any way, a means to control the buying habits of anyone. Rather, my intent would be to ensure that the community of consumers is adequately informed by the supplier before deciding to purchase or not.
Some of the kids I know have plenty of money to buy gear with at age 18. I’d bet many of them purchase online every day from sources that have not provided a single piece of evidence regarding safe procedures for manufacturing. I get it that this is all an illegal and clandestine lifestyle; but Meso is the only real hope people have of not getting screwed over.
I’ve read all of the other boards that you can read as a guest; and this is the only one that has people who seem to give a crap whether some kid gets hurt by a shady lab.
The things posted as stickies here by @CensoredBoardsSuck and @brutus79 are awesome; but it isn’t required reading for members or labs. So there is literally nothing to keep a guy from buying from a lab that may or may not even have a single vial or a sterile vial for sale.

IDK....I feel like I think about this too much and I’m still brand new to this life myself. I just wish people didn’t suck and were held accountable if they do suck.

I think its fine the way it is to be honest. We have enough members who ask the right questions and its pretty clear to see which sources comply and which don't. There's absolutely no way to stop 100% of scamming on here unless Millard deletes every single source thread and we go sourceless. Unless a reputable member goes and inspects the sources setup personally theres no guarantee of anything.

You may be right.
I just think about how much more stuff I could have done to harm myself when I was a kid. The only reason I didn’t is that people who cared about me made it more difficult for me to do so.

Great idea. Specific criteria and standards, so to speak. Allows more accountability.

Yes and how a good source like 24k got off to a good start and knew his stuff till things got too hot for him. That thread should be required reading for every new source wanting to set up shop here.

Besides, are you more likely to buy from a source that posts titty pics? If so, your standards for health and safety must be pretty low if a set of jugs seals the deal for you.

When a new source pops up usually the same questions are asked in each thread. To reduce clutter and repeatedly asked questions I was thinking of just a simple basic outline for a source to use a reference. Like stock pics, material pics, etc... after that the vetting begins and other questions are asked.
This is an uncensored board. And the best thing about it here is that. I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Scammers will scam and people will always buy from shitty pop up sources so not a whole lot we can do in that regard.
A source really doesn’t have to comply to anything if they don’t want to, of course. But by complying shows they aren’t try to stall or bide their time and leave members hanging with unanswered questions for days just to be asked again when they log back on.
And if they decide not to provide what is asked then, maybe, we will know how serious they are about sticking around.
I have no problem with how things are done now. For the most part everyone does a great job with the vetting. You just have to read through everything closely and make an educated decision yourself.
I’m only suggesting in the start of a new source thread things get laid out before hand which hopefully knocks down on clutter making it easier to read through the thread so people can make their own decisions on labs from the start. Not having to wait days to get an answer of basic questions. So in a sense, you get a feel on how a lab is willing or unwilling to cooperate instead of figuring that out 9-10 pages in. Taking the “when I get home” or “soon as I get a chance” part out of the equation.
Everyone’s posts and opinions here at Meso matters. It’s what makes Meso great. Idc if it’s just bullshitting or if it’s straight facts or whatever. I enjoy reading everyone’s post in these threads. I learn a lot and laugh a lot which makes for a fun experience each time I log on.

I’m guilty of ordering too early but always honest! But if we have a plan intact it’s easy to wait. Instead of “show me your moms tits or whatever”. Just a thought......

I haven't been around for a long time (see my re-introduction post) but you guys seem to be doing a great job at making it really difficult for scammers to do their thing here especially when there are so many other boards where they could get away with whatever they want.

People will order no matter what really. I’ve done it too (TBK) lol. I almost didn’t say anything about the issues I had.
I think no matter what, anyone that orders, should post. Issues or not! Helps everyone involved and helps people base a better decision.
I was meaning more towards the start of a thread to clear up cluster and get answers faster from a source. I’d encourage anyone to post that has any dealings with a source. Just because of my experience and almost keeping quiet about it myself.
All for harm reduction though.
