IM Injection 27g 1/2" vs 1"

You know what? I am a retard. I went down this rabbit hole a long time ago.

Syringes already account for dead space.

Dead space is only an issue of wasted material, not inaccurate dosing.
So I was correct? Or you playing with me xD

I bought this not knowing about the plunger that seems only available for the 1ml option.

So you guys are saying that losses are negotiable on it?
Thise will work.. but I buy all my equipment fri. These places (Amazon) for t he most part sells cheap Chinese or vet grade product's... I use that brand skin pins and they work good for me..
Medlabsupply.com (cheapest place for Nipro needles and 3ml excel barrell from what i know)

No you're correct, I wasn't thinking.

Dosing is not impacted by dead space, it's only relevant to material waste.

When you draw a compound to the 1ml line, the dead space is already filled. You've actually drawn 1.1ml, but only 1ml can be injected, the .1ml is trapped in the syringe and needle,

So a luer lock syringe and needle "costs" around .1ml of waste with each injection.

If you get 20 trt injections out of a 10ml vial of test using a luer setup, you're losing 2ml, 20%. Not a significant cost, but maybe relevant if shortages get worse and prices rise.

There are near zero waste options, but not worth the trouble and expense to switch for me.
So do they are don't they... I am confused.. it might not mean much but if a person's is using 3 or 4 compounds at anywhere from 400-600 mg/ml this adds up to be alot....

The best cheap 1ml barrels i was using that were the best for dead space i can't ding them anymore just their 3ml counterpart which are trash.. "doctors choice"

Maybe i should worry about it then, it isa bother to me... I will say the excel 3ml leaves not shit behind....its the only 3ml barrel I've seen with the extra rod that goes down inside the needle...

Just figure you're losing 1ml of compound for every 10 injections.

Could always buy zero or low dead space syringes and needles. Don't forget the needles, it's half the waste.

No i really think it's accounted for if you check the lines of the barrel start from 0 and the dead space is filled before the barrel goes to 0.1ml etc. So in the end is only wasted medicine but the injected quantity is correct, no dead space syringe are use for example for vaccines.

During COVID for example the vials was holding 7 vaccines doses, with dead space syringe after 6 doses the doctor didn't have enough medicine left for the seventh dose. But the previous 6 doses were correct in volume injected.

So unless you are injecting peptides we don't really care of deadspace, who give a fuck if I waste at the end of a multidose even 1ml of oil after 10 injection. I'll just brew more xD

I agree with you. I bought from Amazon because medsupply was out of stock and it's a known brand.

You are right it has just been a bother to me....and I could have bout a kilo or 2 for the amount of money I have spent on my stock of needles and barrells. But I beleive I have the best shit and a lot of it so , I will always have th practice of using good quality equipment i guess. Plus this really nice person I know just sent me some of those cool Braun vial adapters from Germany to try. So maybe a new thing to stock up on.. I know ghoul must have stock in that comapany!!!!
