Start of Week #3-
I came straight off a mini cut to starting this cycle back at the start. I know that wasn't ideal. I've jumped up 15lbs since I've started and upped my diet. Im not concerned, between the water retention, and the calorie increase, and the rebound from coming off the mini cut, I'd say the weight gain isn't unreasonable. For that reason, I haven't been focused on the scale much yet. After this week I'll start using the scale as a metric when I feel weight gain has evened out.
Diet has been the same as last week. No problem with meal timing. I've only had to skip 2 meals in 2 weeks, and I've mostly made up for both of those. No problem hitting macros and calorie target. Im actually eating in excess to what I have down. Again, I'm not too concerned with weight gain, I'm trying to get the absolute most out of my first cycle, yet at the same time not be on the pizza and milkshake diet. I've basically been chicken, rice, veggies with Thai peanut sauce as well as a bedtime protein powder, banana, peanut butter smoothie as 90% of my cals. The rest is from treating myself to cinnamon toast crunch and some chocolate chip cookies. And 2% milk.
The gym has been pretty awesome. I am definitely able to move more weight already, and the pumps are really great. I am getting some PRs pretty frequently. Im trying to make my weight jumps small tho to he able to sustain that progression for as long as possible.
All in all, going very well, if I may say so myself.
