But why shouldn't sources be forced to prove themselves and go through some kind of vetting process aside from the typical "sending free gear" ?

Its funny because alot of the things I am asking sources to do (like show pics to ensure its not some kid with a chemistry set) Astro did (who you have defended - not saying your affiliated with him). He has innovated (not promoting Astro). PEP has also innovated (refund on gear labmax tested). Notice I am covering the 2 biggest sources on this board.

Sources can prove themselves by blindly passing labMax tests. Has pep ever showed his brewing setup? No. Not that I aware of. He showed up with a shill(Kane) and people went nuts. Doesn't that make him fail YOUR own guidelines? Half of meso was "friends" with stretch. That turned out well. I think the "vetting" process is good depending on HOW it's done and by WHOM it's done. I'd rather let the tests do the talking. You are trying to "vet" this source and IMO you are making yourself look bad. I've been communicating with labmax over the last week.

They just confirmed to me if someone (a source) prepays for say $500, they will use that credit and 1 person (or multiple) can request and send out like 20 - 30 individual tests to different people.

Yeah I went a little out of the box here. Sure I took some initiative. Shit I got 1 Mass Spec lined up also in a Steroid friendly country (India). Maybe you won't appreciate it but others might want to know and be able to check what they are getting more frequently. Better to catch a lab going bad sooner than later.

I just feel like dealer is late to the party. I thought labMax was becoming the standard. I apologize. If you think that's effective, go for it. I prefer doing testing rather than arguing. I think it makes more sense. Like I said, I have a HUGE list of results I'll be posting before I disappear for good.

If something is being worked out with labMax, great. I've tested almost every single lab that has came through here on my dime. I just don't see multi page arguments as "protecting" the community. Order something an test it. Put your money where your mouth is. It's easy to talk. Actions are what I'm interested in. Different points of view I suppose. Meso is a great place and our members have a wealth of knowledge but you have to use the board for what's it's purpose is. Just look thru the underground section at all the labs guys have questions about. Browse the threads a while and you should be able to make an educated decision on who you wamt to use.
