In an anabolic stack is HCG purely an ancillary?

I'm planning what to run for my first anabolic stack. I'm almost 48 and my free test last week was 628.

I'm at a moment of inflection where I need to decide if I want to crash that by using Exogenous testosterone and achieve the goals I have in mind, or if I want to pussyfoot around and think that I can reinvent the pathway there.

In an anabolic stack is HCG purely an ancillary?

If anabolism is the primary goal, is HCG worth the E2 hit, or should it be left out to make room for other compounds?

Has anyone ever successfully replaced test with HCG in an anabolic stack?

HCG an ancillary. It’s not a replacement for testosterone when it comes to anabolic effects. HCG can increase estrogen levels aswell. HCG without testosterone for an anabolic stack is generally not smart. Good luck

Its only useful if you want to keep fat balls. And most chicks hate fat balls.
Big balls make your dick look smaller. That’s a good thing - I don’t like to scare ‘em.

I take HCG right now in part because I’m not ready to give up my big juicy low-hanging balls, and in part because I’m not ready to 100% commit to exogenous test for the rest of my life. In theory HCG helps protect the Leydig cells from irreversible loss. I probably won’t take it forever, but it feels a little like an insurance policy.

That said, I feel so much better on TRT(+) than I’ve felt natty for a very long time, I doubt I’ll ever go back.

My girl loves big balls and big loads so HCG, even just a tiny amount is always in any stack, gotta please the woman:cool:

Food for thought especially if you have been shut down/suppressed for a while.

Thank you, some interesting thoughts and experiences to read there .

"You have a bucket that represents your capacity to handle E2 without adverse effects or loss of symptomatic benefit. Instead of filling that bucket with testosterone, and then pouring hCG on top until the bucket overflows, we're going to start with the hCG, and then see how much testosterone we can fit in the bucket afterwards. "

Anyone have comments on that idea?

I'm getting more extensive labs done next week, and that might help decide where and what to start with. Right now I have no idea what my baseline estradiol is. And I don't have any experience to know what my tolerance for it is.

At the right dose, hCG can be used as a mild T-booster, but is hormonal – not natty – but is certainly more potent than supposed herbal T-boosters and DAA. It has a lot of side effects, though, so your risk/reward calculus vs. TRT might actually favor TRT on balance even at your age.
