Inj L carnitine raw discussion

Hi,
1.Could any of you explain if there are different types of L-carnitine powders that can be used for making injectable l-carnitine? Are there any practical consideration you wish to share with me regarding this subject?

2.Regarding sterilizing rubber stoppers with peracetic acid 5%- did any of you try this? Given that steam or dry sterilization might damage the rubber.

There is nothing wrong with it. But using any carnitine salt you have to extract the free base carnitine from the tartatic acid formed when reacting it with a base. The stronger pip is because of the tartatic acid in the solution if not separated.
Hey Thanks...

Couple of questions (if I may);

1) What do you mean by 'stronger pip' ... what does that mean?
2) What harm will it do to inject Carnitine Tartrate ?

Carnitine is poppy overall. The acid makes it worse.
No harm. It gets converted to tartaric acid and carnitine which both are safe. L carnitine tartrate is just the salt of carnitine.

I'm not understanding you.. are you saying 'L-Carnitine Tartrate' is not effective?

Pip = post injection pain
Stick with the recommendations unless you WANT more pip. Otherwise feel free to ignore suggestions.

When did i say its not effective?
I said it is more pippy.
Stick to carnitine base. Why bother with tartrate?
I've used Tartrate before...slight sting but nothing harsh.---- I'm not sure its even worth it (tartrate of not). I was only doing 400mgs 2 x week and didn't really notice much. --- Chase Irons recommends 800mgs/day.

How much are you doing?

stick to the basic base powder.

Dosage wise i never saw a difference from 300mg, 500, 600mg, 800 or 1000mg a day. Its very overrated imo. I dont know if it even really did anything.

I got a bit sweaty and cardio was percieved a bit easier, but nothing to write home about. Nothing in terms of body composition in either a calorie surplus or deficit.

Carnitine usually needs 1-2 weeks to fully build up and you also need to inject it daily. Every time i go for 600-800mg a day after about 8-10 days i can feel an increase of energy, better cardio performance and feel less fatigued despite a heavy caloric deficit. It does work but requires daily pins and stable levels and should also be injected with a carb heavy meal as it requires insulin.

I mostly use it to improve lipids and Homa. It pushes down triglycerides greatly, almost by half for me at 800mg daily.
