Yup, sounds about right. It’s my favorite spot and easy to reach. If you stand straight up and lift either leg to the side you can see the VG pop out— almost looks like a big golf ball/tennis ball popping out from the side of your hip.Damn so the ventro spot is basically just 2-3 inches below the peak of that iliac bone? You also likely have a little bit of space to move back towards your dorsalgluteal.
I had the same issue. Every picture or video was different. Finally figured it out and it's been my favorite since. Hit right at the waist line. It feels like it's way too high but it's not. Then just a little forward of 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock assuming your belt buckle is 12. Perfect every time.Isnt that the dorsogluteal?

I personally dont do VG because every video and image looks different. I cant figure where the hell it is.
