Insulin Syringe for everything?

So as someone who has always had a fear of needles I became fairly comfortable during my first cycle using a 29g 0.5 inch insulin syringe to pin my test only cycle without any issues. Now, my second cycle is test + npp and i'm wondering if I can still use the same syringes since I'm somewhat comfortable with these or will the oil not be absorbed properly?

My first year on gear I exclusively used 29G 5/8" insulin pins to draw and inject test.

Had no issues but I only pinned lean areas like delts, chest, quads and traps.

Its works if you are using small amounts of oil like 0.5ml each shot but its a pain waiting for 1ml to fill when drawing into a slin pin.

Backloading is more effort than its worth and at that point you can just buy 1ml barrels, 21g draw needle & 29G needles to inject and it would be faster.

They do make 5/8” 27g luer lock needles. I use them for delts and quads. Easy to use with a 1ml barrel, 3ml takes a good bit of pressure.

Best of both worlds though. Tiny needle and the ability to draw with a larger gauge

Been using Insulin pins for years now. Draw with an 18g, then switch the tip.

As above, it does take a lot of pressure to inject but you get used to it.

LP

it does help flow/plunger pressure if you heat the oil a little bit. People use various methods...syringe in zip lock in warm water is great....

Yes it's fine. I like backloading personally so the needle doesn't get dull pulling from multiple vials. Also NPP should be Ed or eod injections so I could just backload a week's worth and use em as needed
If u are using LL or slip tips and changing needles be aware of the deadspace in the different tips

Man...I suck at backloading, you have a good instructional video you could point us to?
Be very conscious of that dead space, cheaper brands can have quite a large amount...

I'm not really a fan of the ones on YouTube as they are usually only using 1 compound and it's usually not MCT oil and they hold the needle vertical.

When I blast I inject Ed so;
Step 1: Grab 7 slin pins
Step 2: Grab 1"back filling" syrgine for every compound im using
Step 3: draw weeks worth of each compound in each "back filling" syringe
Step 4: pull plunger out of slin pin put back in wrapper
Step 5: hold slin pin as horizontal as possible so oil won't reach the needle needle.and inject largest volume compound first and do on so forth
Stes 6: replace plunger untill I feel resistance then tip slin pin vertically with needle up wait for oil to drain back against the plunger then push in rest of the way.
Step 7: repeat step 4-6

The reason why I don't do all 7 at once and just rest them vertical on their caps is BC the oil (especially MCT) leaks out the needle by the time I'm done filling all 7. (Lost a week's worth of deca first time I tried:()
if you wanted to save on filling syringes you could use the same one for each compound but after u backfill 1 slin pin u have to put the plunger back in far enough to cause an airlock so it won't leak but syringes are cheap so idgaf

As long as you're not too fat there shouldn't be a problem. If you pin in the fat there shouldn't be a problem either because it will get absorbed but will take a little longer.
I've even pinned glutes with insulin needles.

Ya use slin pins also for everything so npp should be no problem.Once you start backloading it gets easier but its better than sticking yaself with a harpoon everyday!

So you guys are saying it’s ok to use an insulin syringe for npp, correct?
If you're injecting more than a ML, get 27ga needles. I use them weekly, alternating with 25ga. To be honest, even a 25ga is virtually painless and easier to make one large injection.

You have oil leak out an insulin syringe? I never get that, though I don't use MCT. When I tried backfilling HCG it leaked out due to it being water though.

I do pretty much the same process as you to backfill, but I keep the pins stacked vertically in a small jar. When I do multiple compounds, I get a second jar and move them over as I fill each one so as not to get confused and double fill any.

Some backfilling wizards here, I tell ya. No sarcasm.

I tried backfilling once, got oil all over myself and since then just pinned with my draw needle/syringe. But I might try your methods if I ever decide to blast.

I'll try to remember to take some photos next time I do it. It's pretty easy once you see it

Made a new thread for the backloading guide

side question for you guys, how do you know if you did an intramuscular, shallow intramuscular, or subq shot? is there a way to tell?
